Anyone use wire to saw off cattle horns. Is there a certain way to do it or is it just place the wire where you want to cut and start pulling.

I think it would be a good idea if we all did something simple every week to make Farming safer and post it here with a short explanation as to how it improved the situation . Farm safety involves lots of small steps so even mundane stuff like picking up the plastic straps that hold the big bags on pallets and are inclined to wander around the yard and trip you up if not disposed of . If twenty people did two things every week that would be forty improvements and it might inspire ten... Read more

I'm posting this here on the off chance that somebody might know where to get bits for the impact driver I have. I haven't been able to turn up anything on ebay whilst doing a quick search. Looking at different stands for working on the bigger tractors here. Have narrowed it down to choice of 3. Any opinions on any of them ? Would probably go for 20tn Bahco but could be on the high side when down fully. Going to try something new for a while we will see how it goes. Today Today will be a rather cold and bright day with sunny spells. There will be scattered rain or hail showers during the morning, but these will soon die away and it will become mostly dry as the day goes on with sunny spells. Fresh northwesterly breezes will ease later in the day and top temperatures will range from 7 to 9 degrees, or possibly 10 degrees.
