Hi everyone! This is Xowoken , a remake of the Quake Champions map Awoken, adapted specifically for Xonotic. The map features a gothic sandstone castle style with warm sunset lighting and detailed geometry. The layout has been carefully tuned for fast, smooth competitive movement and balanced gameplay. Key Features: Smooth Movement: Clean clipping on stairs, pillars, and arches for uninterrupted strafe-jumping. Balanced Layout: Carefully placed items and spawn points for duels and small match types. Aesthetics: Detailed stone architecture with arches, torches, banners, and custom curved brushes. Release 1.0 ( xowoken_r1 ) Download: Google Drive

Hello everyone! I have made a map. It is a 2-team ctf map with a central box with two floating platforms which have the flags. The link for it is here: https://github.com/EarlOfFragging/bigbox...r-xonotic- Constructive criticism is welcome as this is literally my 2nd map ever lol.

Hey, this morning while mapping and opening xon in between builds, i noticed that the game was stuck at the menu screen after loading. The menu GUI elements themselves (singleplayer/multiplayer/settings) do not load, and the window becomes unresponsive (to close, I have to wait for the 'not responding' prompt or kill the process. When starting from console, Ctrl+C doesn't exit the game. The problem started this morning, now every time i try to start the game it freezes like this. Things i've tried, to no effect: move my .xonotic folder re-download the game and launch from newly unzipped download reboot run different executables (linux-sdl, linux-glx, even the windows exe with Wine) Since this problem happened in the middle of mapping, a software update has likely not caused this. My system: Fedora Linux 44 with XFCE Running Xonotic 0.8.6 pre-built, downloaded from the website: https://dl.xonotic.org/xonotic-0.8.6.zip Console output of running the game: https://pastebin.com/raw/gs62j1dF journalctl output while the game was running ($ ./xonotic-linux-sdl.sh): https://pastebin.com/raw/AdtkidFq Thanks

Hello, I am Ripe_Robin59 (known on yt as Earl_Of_Fragging). I have a channel where I post gameplay of arenashooters, including Xonotic! I'm gonna post a xonotic video today but I haven't posted due to working on a map. Link to my yt: https://www.youtube.com/@Earl_Of_Fragging

Hello everyone. I created the file server.cfg in ~/.var/app/org.xonotic.Xonotic/.xonotic/data/ so I could add/change some settings, but none of them seem to be working. I tried moving it to several related directories, but none worked. I launched the game from the command line and found that it was execing a file called xonotic-server.cfg that I couldn't find anywhere on my system. Changing the filename of my configuration file to xonotic-server.cfg and putting it in the original location seemed to enable every possible option, resulting in me somehow immediately dying every time I started a new game or tried to respawn. The flatpak's permissions are at the default settings. I have no idea what to do here, but I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.

I recently discovered Xonotic and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I find myself consistently setting the exact same preferences in the Create menu every time I start a game, so I was wondering if there's a way to change the default selections. I'm not seeing an option for that in the UI.
