I'm home with nothing much to do this afternoon so I figured I whip up a decent meal. I've got a meeting at the school so we're eating early, and tonight is the might Mrs_B stays at school an extra hour for tutoring so ... I've got some frozen cod, not as good as fresh, but its what I had. It's baking with a simple honey-miso glaze. Here its sunny and pretty nice out...... I would say about 15 or so....... Supposed to be nice the next week,I do hope so.........

I’m always interested in places that offer more than just the usual tourist attractions. Some destinations seem especially enjoyable for people who like exploring, discovering local areas, trying different foods, and getting away from the most crowded spots. I sit outside, have a beer and ponder about a million things. Some that have come to mind recently. Add yours. My daughter just finished her first semester of college. She and her younger brother never had a baby-sitter... ever. They were in daycare until kindergarten but as a work from home dad, we never needed an actual baby-sitter for evenings or after they started kindergarten. It's hard to un-love someone. Diesel owners mark your calendars! We're going for a third consecutive year for our oddball diesel meet in Helena, Montana. We will meet up at the State Capitol starting around 10 AM on Saturday, October 17 to hang out, talk diesels and check out each other's rigs for a while. After a couple of hours we'll grab lunch somewhere and then head out for a group cruise on scenic backroads. We'll plan to wrap up late afternoon to allow people time to get home. Boyne Mountain has (had?) a Tucker ..... HALF a Tucker..... in their water park. I'm told that they have a boneyard of Tuckers on site..... but they refuse to give me a tour. It's been well over a decade since I've been to the water park, so I'm not entirely certain that it's still there. They CUT THE THING IN HALF!!! ..... and repainted it to put it in the water park as decoration. I was so pissed when I saw that. ... Read more

Chiropractor this morning. Followed by another trip to the tire shop to get new tires installed on my wife's expedition. Home to do some hashing on the bathroom design and ordering fixtures. Next will be a trip to a few tile places in the city to pick out flooring, countertop, and shower tiles.
