2014 Soul + 2.0 GDI. Was replacing my spark plugs yesterday and noticed that #4 had oil in it: They said I need a new cover gasket, and I was recommended Valve Cover Gasket 22441-2E210. Is that correct? Anything else I should replace? Thanks.

I have a 2015 base model with the 6 speed manual trans. When will I need to replace the clutch disc?

... Silver, black interior (durn), manual trans, nach... then a week later I learn there's a trim-level called +/Plus, with the bigger 2.0L engine... of which there are ZERO in the used market. Oh well, soon I'll be asking silly questions about 2.0L "swaps", aftermarket turbos, or ChiCom hybrid kits that take up the entire back seat, but yield 51 MPG... Seriously though, WHERE is the best source for those smoked plastic "rain-guard" window "brow" thingies, soze I can... Oh Noes!!... bought a rust-free 2016 "Base" model... 99k miles...

2015 kia soul 1.6 - engine with 20k miles (2nd). at about 1500 RPM either when decelerating or accelerating from idle, there is a vibration like growl produced. as you pass 1800rpm it goes away. will come back at that rpm every time. I dont feel it in cabin but can hear it and its just enough to be annoying. Shop looked at it and couldnt find it, but tightend soem heat shields that were loose and rattling. The car other wise runs very well. Any ideas of common issues to look for?

Has anyone had this issue? I have a 2011 Soul with the 2L. When I fill the fuel tank and I don’t over fill. When it automatically shuts off I stop. After each fill up I get a very strong gasoline smell. So strong I can’t park in my garage, I leave it outside until I drive several miles and the tank is no longer full. Only then does the strong gasoline smell stop. I have looked closely for fuel leaks with a strong flashlight but haven’t found anything at all. Anyone?

Fast forward to the next day when the Kia dealer outside of Knoxville told me that it failed the bearing clearance test, which is crazy because it passed it last December (likely just barely, I'm sure). Mere minutes after submitting all the necessary documents, the service advisor called to tell me that the engine will be covered under the warranty extension. I'm... New Engine (Under Warranty)
