USB 3.0(ish) drivers for Windows 98

Mostly AI created, but still pretty cool - don't really have much time to test myself: https://github.com/yeokm1/xhci98 Currently seems to be a some sort of wrapper over existing USB 2.0 drivers allowing them to run on xHCI only PCs with USB 2.0 speeds.

Well, first day of a new month and another (serious) forum issue afflicts yours truly 😉 😞 ... I'm posting this from a saved logged-in MSFN session, where I had successfully signed-in a few days ago, not really sure when exactly... Browser used is r3dfox-140.0.4 (32-bit), its exact user-agent being: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0 r3dfox/140.0.4 Now posting with my ISP's Greek IP address, because, thankfully, this previous issue appears to have been resolved! If I open a new container tab, a new private window, etc. and try to load, say, https://msfn.org/board/ the forum does load as expected; of course, I appear there as signed-out, because the logged-in cookies are not shared with the container or private window; but, if I try to sign-in in the container tab or the private window, I'M NOT ABLE TO 😢 ; the forum throws the error in the issue title... But it gets worse; I can't sign-in to the MSFN board anymore in whichever other browser I was not signed-in previously, also in a normal tab or window (not containerised tab/not private window); below are screencaps of my attempts to sign-in to roytam1's latest NM28 build (private window there, because I'm already signed-in in a normal window from before): and my attempt to sign-in to a normal tab in the r3dfox-153.0.3 (32-bit) browser: (the browser above has a user-agent as follows: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:153.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/153.0 r3dfox/153.0.3 ) What is this thing now? Request for help with Google Search

Lately, Google search returns strings of gobbledegook that do not reveal the actual link. I'm looking for an extension that will give me the actual, direct link to a site when I right-click on the Google search result. I have tried the extensions in the attached image and as of today none of them can do this, in either Firefox or R3dfox. Does anyone have suggestions? I'm on Windows 7 pro.

"Enlarge image" forum feature no longer working...

When a member's post contains an image attachment whose original dimensions are greater than the tab's current viewport, placing the cursor over the image itself should turn it into a small 🔍 (with a + sign) and the "Enlarge image" tooltip should also appear; e.g. below screencap taken on: https://msfn.org/board/topic/186106-r3dfox-a-modern-firefox-based-web-browser-for-windows-vista-7-and-8/#findComment-1262815 However, after left-clicking the (magnifying glass) cursor to enlarge the selected image, an overlay does appear on the page, but it's devoid of any image content : I distinctly remember that this feature used to work as intended in the previous forum software iteration, prior to the (much needed, for security reasons) IC software upgrade; can this feature be restored, please 🙂 ? FWIW, I've tested this ONLY on Firefox-based browsers capable of running on my "legacy" OS, namely r3dfox v115.13.0, v140.0.4 and v153.0.3 (latest release); not sure if my report can be replicated on Chromium-based browsers, though... Thank you in advance! PS: Currently getting re-acquainted with the forum's editor , as it's somewhat different to what I was used to over the previous years (e.g., there's now no PREVIEW button?) ...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Windows 2000 (without extended kernel/core)!

Thanks to EAZY BLACK, we officially now have the 359.06 XP driver ported to vanilla Windows 2000, which means we are no longer restricted to the GTX 480 without the extended kernel! In my testing here, I have a 2500K system with a 980 Ti, and although for now there is no control panel, the driver itself seems to be stable! And yes, 3D acceleration seems to work fine as well. The driver: https://w7revived.chefkiss.dev/DriverDatabase/W2K/Graphics/NVIDIA/NVIDIA_35906_W2K_Beta1.7z Required updates (Update Rollup 1 and KB829884) are in here: https://legacywindowssoftware.duckdns.org/files/Drivers/GPU/NVIDIA/Modded%20NVIDIA%20drivers%20for%20Windows%202000%20%28Vanilla%29/
