For those who have gotten their Pugs through a rescue, did you sign up with just one rescue group, or more? I still have trouble with feeling "ready." Pugs are very hard to find around here, and very expensive. I have an application in with one group, and the next step is to send in pictures & videos for a home check. Even those are expensive unless you get one that is old. I know they need homes, too, but I want one that isn't sick brcause I don't want to go through that loss again anytime soon. Old age and sickness comes much too soon anyway. Then if I find a breeder to get a puppy from, there is the wild puppy stage and you don't know what they will be like as adults. Puppies are expensive, too, and most breeders out here seem to be advertising on a platform that you contact the breeder through, and pay through it also, so they charge their additional fees also. And seems like an awful lot of breeders out here are now breeding for "rare and special colored Pugs." I steer clear of those. "Koi Pugs??!!!" Uh, no....just not right!

My pug was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor, and we’re currently looking into our options and getting a second opinion. I know every dog and every tumor can be different, so I’m really hoping to hear from other pug owners who have actually been through this. If your pug has had a mast cell tumor, I’d love to hear: • Where was the tumor located? • What grade/stage was it? • Did you choose surgery, medication, radiation, or another treatment? • How did your pug do with treatment and recovery? • Did the tumor come back or spread? • Most importantly, how is your pug doing now? I’m trying to gather as much firsthand information as I can so I can make the best-informed decisions for my boy. Please feel free to share the good, the bad, and everything in between. I’m especially interested in hearing what you wish you had known when you first got the diagnosis. ❤️ Thank you!

Not sure how he managed to fall in I was standing about 5 feet away looking in the skimmer to save frogs! Splash! Ran over and hauled him out he shook off went on about his yard inspection. OF course when we got inside he sat down at my mothers feet and shook off! :big laugh I don't leave the pool area when they are out now or even do little projects, the nightmare of finding Frank in there will haunt me forever~

Rosie hear with Hercules and the cats, we are not liking the bare floors! They are cold! We want that fluffy stuff put back on them pronto! I love to run to the end of the hallway sit and spin like a ball, OMP I turn into a bowling ball Pug! I slid into the kitchen! Hercules is slipping we almost don't follow her to the bathroom :big laugh As for the cats they are all either on a bed/couch or just don't want to come inside. It's so hot momma tricks them in the mornings and keeps them inside. She brought a lady here with a board we hope the soft stuff is put in soon. But she says the walls have to be done first so she better hop to it and get them ready for the painters.
