Received the arm rest circuit board controler back from Ag Express Grand Island Ne. Re installed it and seems to be ok now. Throttle works, can shift gears, remotes work etc Not sure what they actually fixed on it, cant tell from looking at board. Also says on ticket they did some preventative maintenance. Shipping both ways and repairs jus over $500 Thanks again for the help. Note: Jus unplug, remove bolt, loosen a slotted bolt, take complete armrest to work bench. Easy peasy.....

Only had one loose the dowel -- but plenty that the dowel was not fully seated in the block Loose bolts seem to be more prevalent for me -- and a few cracked housings , usually next to the injection pump -- yeah bolts on the oil pump always get removed / cleaned and fresh red loc-tite I quit using gaskets on that front cover way back -- had much better luck with leaks Loose bolts on the rear main or the seal housing "flaring" letting the seal pop out

It has been a very hot and dry summer in easter Wisconsin. We are something like 8 or 9 inhes below normal rain fall. Despite that the corn is really tall here. The only thing I can figure is that the nights have been very humid with a lot of dew. I was listening to a WPBS radio program with a couple of climatologists yesterday who were talking about how there is so much corn out there and that corn is really terrible for regulating its water intake that "corn sweat" has actually become a factor in predicting dew points and humidity. It appears that all that moisture has ironically been enough to sustain the crop this year. Normally with that little rain you would expect to see short stunted burned plants but Im only seeing that aaournd the outside edges of the fields. These are really strange times indeed.

I got into them while string trimming once, I dropped the trimmer and ran for it, it idled along for a good 20 minutes and I don’t think those ******** ever stopped attacking it.

I cant say as I've ever seen a VP44E lose one either, but never have an A series, VE series, or the old CAV/Lucas lose one, it must have to do with weight of the pump and vibration frequency, I really cant say, not an engineer but that has been my findings. I didn't deal with a lot of VP44E when I was at Case the excavators were the only thing we had with them on there, changed several injections pump and lift pumps, main cause of injection pump failure, but never had a dowel exit the party. we never had anything with a Pseries pump either but I have worked on enough pickups that had issues. I had to change a few VP pumps on pickups too but never had one spit the dowel. That bolt up above the oil pump in the cover was more of an issue than anything, after replacing the oil pump and loctiting the bolt never had one ever bother.
