He said he was shocked to run into one of my videos having been a poster on a cycling forum back in early 2000's. He remembered viewing my pics and later videos. Shocked that I was still around, riding and posting. He said something about being an OG rider not figuring I'd still be around. Hello, I have an older road bike (Year around 2009) equipped with a Campagnolo 10-speed drivetrain. My current setup is: Rear derailleur: Campagnolo Centaur 10-speed, short cage, RD7-CEXS Cassette: 11–25T, 10-speed Crankset: Campagnolo Ultra-Torque, 50/34T The rest of the drivetrain and shifters are Campagnolo 10-speed. One thing that has irked me since I started riding (only a little over a year ago tbh) is the redundancy of bike computers and lack of sensor support to connect smart phones. My background: I ride about 2x/ week — once for fun about 40mi or so, and once to commute to/from work about 13.5mi each way. When I started, my moving pace solo was a slow 16-17mph but I’m up to 19-20mph now. This morning I had no problem keeping up with a group at 23mph on my 2007 Specialized Sequoia which was by far... How do you guys clean your helmets? Well the ones that clean their helmets. 😆 I've always done mine buy hand in the wash basin. Then wiping the shell clean with a rag. After letting the straps saddle the basin soaking clean. Maybe it's my old age but I'm at the point where I just want it to be quick and easy now. For the first time ever, I did the take a shower with my helmet method. I have been taking mhy HR strap in with me for a couple years now and works well. So today, after another... We had planned to meet, but he canceled due to "falling off my bike." --It turns out he is a decent regular road cyclist, and had a mishap at 20MPH, possibly getting a fracture or break in his collar bone.
