My 24 Onyx XT is due for the 30K service, which according to all the service intervals I can find is basically oil change, filters, brake fluid change, and inspections. I call Lithia Subaru here in Reno (where I bought it) to schedule. They tell me that at 30K its due for all that plus a diff oil change and CVT oil change. I have 2017 that recently got a bad crack on the windshield. Any recommendations on where I can get an OEM windshield? I don't want a Safelite windshield. Heard they have bad service but maybe that's not true. I'm located in Sacramento, CA. thanks

Hello all, Long-time fan and previous owner of two Outbacks. We just brought our third one home tonight, a 2019 Touring edition with the 3.6r and 41,000 original miles. Carfax showed two prev owners and decent maintenance. Having owned a 2016 (same gen) in the past, I am somewhat rusty on all the tips, tricks, recalls, nifty ideas, etc. since we haven’t had any Subaru’s in the stable for roughly a decade. Good morning! I've been putting off a DPF swap, and when I finally got into it I found two of the nuts on the turbo side of the DPF were rounded off, and the threads on the one I did manage to remove weren't in great shape either. Unfortunately I didn't measure the stud length there and then so I'm hoping someone here can help. Could anyone confirm the length of the studs on the turbocharger downpipe — the ones the DPF bolts onto? See attached picture for reference (not my turbo). I'm... Turbo stud length and dimension?

My 2019 OB 30,000 miles battery died. The 60% class action replacement remedy at 7+ years would cost me more out of pocket than buying a better battery elsewhere since ALL batteries are made by one of 2 manufacturers and not crafted by SOA. The car came with a group 25 battery with ~460 CCA. I can fit a Group 34 with either 700 CCA 2 year warranty for $117 at Walmart or Group 34 with 800 CCA with 3 year warranty for $149 Is there any potential harm to various modules (or alternator) in using... 2019 OB replacement battery - maximum safest CCA?

Have 2015 Outback, about 260,000 miles on it last I remember, It's been parked in my driveway since the end of June when I had emergency eye surgery and haven't been able to see well enough to drive since. Hopefully the surgeon will give me the all-clear to drive again by the end of the week, but the car hasn't been started in over two months.
