So I am in new ownership of a 1997 triumph speed triple, but the VIN of the bike and the VIN on the title do not match. The important thing here is that the serial numbers match. So what's the decrepency? The VIN prefixes. One is from the U.S. while the other is from the EU. Prefixes are SMT500EE0VJ and SMTTE500KGV respectively. Serial number is 049616 which only comes up in Triumph's records connected to the U.S. prefix. Then why is the EU prefix connected to my frame?! I found out that... My speed triple has a US and EU vin. How?!

I have an 07 S3. It is a very good strong machine that I love riding. So good on twisties. We have a lot of nice twisty back roads and the bike is very flickable and mostly stable. So I have a blast tearing around the place. I would love to do track days more but the nearest track is a long way away. Anyway I notice the rear suspension is quite hard. Hi i have 955i, won't start, rpm not reaching minimum rpm, Changed starter, super hd cables to starter, solenoid drops less than a Volt, battery makes no difference, even jumping from a bloody electric forklift. Ran diagnostics via tune ecu, no faults. Can the dprag clutch slip, I doubt it, as this is aftermarket part, please advise

Introductory, I have owned this S3 since 2012. Have low sided it once on a round about, too much faith in some Racetecs but my fault. Repaired it. It is a great machine. It sounds cool when it's hauling, with some over run pops etc. I have standard upgrade stuff K&N, got a Remus muffler from somewhere off a Ducati and an engineer did some pipe work through to the collector and included o2 sensor, no cat, no SAI, remapped TuneECU to match setup. Hi everyone, signed up to the forum April last year and read many threads which has helped with numerous problems I've had with my bike so thanks firstly for that. I have tried to use the search tool for this current problem. Read a few threads which has given some ideas but nothing that quite clears it up. My problem I have atm is the bike has very slow to no crank over when trying to start up. Some information on the Bike to hopefully help some of you guru's point me in the right... Hi, on my 2025 speed triple 1200 rs, on a cold start, the revs rise and lower a number of times before settling to constant revs. Does any one else have this. I have seen a few reports, some say this is normal, one guy mentioned it was due to an airbox o ring seal missing. Thanks

hi I have speed triple 1050 r/s on a 20 plate , it’s happened 3 times now, after a ride of about 40 minutes,the coolant low warning comes on . I turn the bike of and I’m hearing coolant boiling..I’ve flushed the system thermostat has been checked and water pump is ok ,,gasket not leaking. Any ideas ?

The other day I rode into work 75 miles and parked the bike for the day. After work I start the bike up without any issues, let it warm up and pull out of work. As I'm coming to the lot gate the bike sputters and then dies. I had the clutch pulled in to stop. I tried restarting but nothing at all. About a minute later I turn the key off/on and the bikes dash lights backup and then starts up without issue. My trip meter and clock reset. I got home (another 75 miles) with zero issues as... 2008 Speed with melted 30a main fuse HELP.
