I have a 02 yota. When my car first started shaking/ vibrations it was a few years ago like ‘22? Anyways I got one side of my axles changed. So my 02 yota has this problem for a little bit now and I have taken it to a mechanic who’s really good at what he does (but I went the cheaper way.) and he told me to get my wheel bearing changed. Well, I got the part and with shit just being expensive as it is, I asked one of my friends if he had a press for my bearing. And so my friend changed my... Vibration/Shaking in front end?

Is it normal for the bushing brackets in the front to loosen up a day or so after installing fresh bushings? My clunk went away for about a day or two after replacing the front bushings, then came back on the driver's side front. I'm just asking before lifting the car up and getting under it again.

A dealer not far from me in New Jersey has a two owner '08 Solara drop top with 161,690 miles as the last reported odometer reading on 08/30/25. The dealer's website shows a clean car (however seeing is believing). The car has everything I want, in a color combo I like and is within my price point. Both CarFax and Experian Auto check show similar histories. A couple of fender benders, but nothing major. Both reports show a Mileage of 150,338 as of December 2023, in that month it passed NJ... 2008 Solara SE Yellow Flag, Red Flag, or No Flag?

I have a 2003 Camry XLE with the vvti V6 and the 5 speed auto. 350K miles. The check engine light came on and I was getting codes p0442 and p0446. I replaced a very worn fuel cap and reconnected a hose that had been knocked off of the airbox. The codes came back. Having exhausted my very limited set of trouble shooting skills I took the car to a local shop. They charged $160 to diagnose the problem and indicated the charcoal canister needs to be replaced. The estimate is $900. About... Reasonable price for charcoal canister replacement ?

Looking to get rid of my HID light setup and install a conversion LED kit. What is a good brand etc that doesn't involve too much splicing and drilling into my existing plastic dust cap, etc? I'll be removing the Toyota ballasts & light connectors, but will keep the bulb sockets, so I need LED bulbs that can fit into the existing bulb sockets. Hi All. My teenage son drives a 2004 Vibe (same as the Matrix). The car has around 125kmi on it, and it has been a pretty good car. A few days ago he went to work and as he closed up the car in the parking lot- the driver's side front window partially dropped into the door. My 2025 4th gen Tacoma is generating rear-end whining sound that starts at speeds above 30 mph and goes away at 45mph. I first noticed the noise after approximately 1000 miles. I currently have 3,400 miles the sound level has not increased. I tried searching on this forum, with no good results. I am sure that it is how I entered the info. Thank you

Hi, my 2021 Rav4 hybrid has only 14,000 miles on it and is running fine but the dealership tells me I should get a brake fluid exchange. Given the fact that the mileage on it is so low, does that make sense? Do you need to do a brake fluid exchange every so many years or miles? Also, can any shop do a brake fluid exchange or should I fork over $190 for Toyota to do it?

Little Pig is 27 years old and is now winter duty only, so I pulled apart the front brakes and found left side okay, but the right side: lower guide pin seized inboard pad very stuff. Once I pried it off I can't fit it back in even after wiping off the grime. pieces flake off the outer edge of rotor, but somehow still measures 21mm. pads (very used Hawk HPS) badly grooved It has been replaced with a reman before Brake fluid spilled from piston as I unwind it... Front right brake is very sad. How much parts to replace?
