I bought this bike 3 or 4 weeks ago off this forum. It's a great bike in excellent condition. Current milage is only 5400 miles. It runs great and is a looker. Biggest issue is I miss my 850 and ability to ride dirt roads and 2 track. Dirt is my thing, thought I'd be happy on the street but I'm not a road racer and at legal speeds I'm bored! Bike is stock except previous owner took the really tall stock bars off and put some proper height on. It also has that awesome looking and sounding... Read more

You know the adventure is about to begin out West when you start seeing Mavericks! It was a beautiful drive out to Montrose, Co., from Amarillo, Tx. We won’t discuss the drive from the North Houston area to Amarillo, other than to say it was windy, dusty, and around 104F all day. And people wonder why I look at them funny when they ask if we are riding across West Texas The drive got really nice once we headed away from I-25 at Walsenberg up CO 69 to US 50. US 50 runs along the Arkansas... Read more

This is the thread for Ride-to-Eat-Meat events in the general San Antonio area. It is self-moderated. If you plan to ride somewhere, post it and others may join in. I will no longer try to coordinate rides.

I am headed up to White Rock Mountain Recreational Area November 12-16, anyone have any experience at this location, from what I can see it is water only and is in the middle of nowhere. Traveling with a friend and we will either be tent camping or if weather permits the Haven lay-flat hammock. it's about a five-hour ride from my location, should be a great trip.
