Been having an issue with brakes on a mk4 pd130 golf I have. The car sat for years and when I got it clutch pedal was stuck to floor. After topping up brake fluid clutch pedal is back working normal. Fitted disks and pads all around with 3 new callipers and hoses. Bled the brakes and pedal is hard when car is off but when it’s running, it’s soft and will go to floor slowly if you press hard enough. I changed master cylinder, bench bled it, and bought a diagnostic tool to try bleed abs but it... Soft brakes

checking the timing on the 1.9 PD last week, noticed my ac pump looked a little odd, and I have to say I dont remember ever looking at it and noticing it before 😂 is the clutch missing? or just a drive hub 🤔 I do have this to hand if its not a clutched unit on the vehicle currently. its LC53FUD.

Hey everyone! I have ordered my first ever VW, a UK right hand drive VW Golf mk8.5 Match trim (1.5 eTSI) from new stock which I hope will be delivered in a couple of weeks. The only pack it had added was ambient lighting. Can't wait to get the call to say it is ready to pick up I’ve read a few posts online about heated seats being a “feature on demand” you can pay to unlock on some trims but I’m not sure if this applies to the Match trim (most of the online references to it seem to be... Heated seats “feature on demand” for 8.5 Match trim?

Afternoon all I’ve noticed that neither of my front heated seats are working (not heating). They move without issues. Just wondering wheee to start with regards to fault finding. Thanks Clive.

Both back wheels on my ultra low mileage MK6 GTI have some spinning resistance even after removing the brake calipers. As an experiment I backed off the M18 centre bolt by an 1/8 turn and the spinning resistance was greatly reduced. There's no play in the wheels and the bolt is still exceptionally tight. Any thoughts?

My door lock has started playing up randomly. Sometimes it locks fine, other times it takes a couple of attempts before it responds. No warning on the dash, just inconsistent operation.

So as many have stated the H/K system is the worst I have ever experienced since my 1984 Pontiac feiro. The sound is not too awful at minute levels but it quickly runs out of muscle. I would like to add an amp to mitigate this issue but no one makes a t harness so the factory wiring does not have to be butchered. Does anyone know if there is a pin diagram anywhere that tells me what pin is what do I can wire in a DSP and add an amp? I would hope that I can source a harness end to be able... H/k amp harness help

I am thinking of doing an oil change. Im wondering where is safe to put jack stands? Is it ok to use the areas in the pic and if so which number is best to centre the jack stand? I will keep two trolley jacks in place under pinch welds just in case
