Hi, Can anyone help me? My leisure battery isn’t charging from either mains hookup or whilst driving. Whilst driving the control panel display is as per the first image. When the engine is off, the display is as per the 2nd video. Even after 4 hrs driving or 48hrs on mains hookup up, the display is as per the 2nd video. When the engine isn’t running or when the the van isn’t hooked up to the mains, the fridge will switch on but turns itself off in short order. Any advice welcome. Thank you.

Morning all, got an issue with the software update. This is the first time I've had a vehicle that purely relies on OTA and I am coming to the conclusion that VW's software engineering team are... sub optimal? I am running software version 0809, which I got applied OTA when I first got her. I note there have been several updates to this over the past few months that I have not been able to apply. Help.. we are stuck in Portugal and can’t lower the bed. One strut failed and now have sideways pressure trying to lower. Cannot get both corners of bed seated in lowered position. So can’t drive! Is there a safe way to unclip gas struts for bed and lower manually and squarely? We are near Braganca and there appears to be a VW commercial van centre there. Well I got stuck in yesterday and connected the whole thing up. Ecoflow Delta Max2 along with the EDM2 extra battery connected to the battery under the bonnet through the EF alternator charger. It took about 4 hours but in truth there was only one hours work in there. The rest of the time was thinking, finding the best cable run and finding tools and bits. Cali T6.1 Infotainment system software update. I keep getting a pop up appear when driving - ‘Software update available – Show information about the update – with option boxes – ‘Later’ or ‘OK’. After pressing one of those another message comes up with not available whilst driving or similar. Since the Cali was in for service last week I asked the dealer if they could do it. Apparently they can’t. They advised next time I got the pop-up when I got home I’d need to leave the engine running... Read more

Hi Everyone. Just had a quote for my 2022 California ocean from comfort and it is so much cheaper than my renewal quote from Devitt who I insured with last year. The devitt quote has increased by £100 which is a big jump. Can anyone recommend comfort or am I comparing Apples and Pears.

Our very high spec Beach is nearly 7 years old, and only done 21k miles. Most of its miles are long motorway journeys interspersed with 2nd car runabout duties. Where we would use it as a day van, it is easier and cheaper to use our company car which is electric, than to get the van out of the garage. We love driving the van when camping, but both dislike driving it as a 2nd car runabout in case it gets damaged. We also bought a little caravan last year as the kids are now double digits...
