I recently picked up a 2002 Honda XRV750 relatively cheap, knowing it might have a motor issue. I’m in the process of moving, so it’ll be a while before I can look into it properly, but I thought I’d ask here for some food for thought in the meantime. The bike has 67,000 km on the clock and starts and runs seemingly perfectly. Power output feels fine too. But as RPMs increase, the engine develops a crackling noise that seems to come from both cylinders, more specifically from the cylinder... 2002 XRV750 – Crackling Noise Under Load

A friend brought over the '90 Transalp (PD06) he had bought and complained that it would not go faster than 60mph. A quick check of the timing and compression showed them to be in spec for its age Plugs indicated that carbs would be the culprit. Pulling the tank and air box off revealed that the slides were not moving. I removed the carb tops and found that the diaphragms had separated from the slides. Glued them back together and took it for a test ride (see photo). Not much improvement... An Ethical Question

Hi - does anyone have this part for sale second-hand, or know where I can get it at less than David Silver charge? I'm talking about the cluster that includes (top down): choke lever, headlight flasher, lights including high beam, indicators, horn. The indicators have gone on mine. Relay checked and working so it's got to be the switch. Many thanks!

Just wanted to share this... (I had it made in AI ). Always thought the rear end looks too bulky and old... not hating it, but... Maybe not for all, but I have to say I would love my bike to look this. I believe it could be done fairly simple if you know what you're doing and are skilled (not like myself), but of course it's not an original looking bike any more. What do you think? Not the sidestand bolt itself, but the bracket it attaches to with the footpeg. Luckily, it was 1 of 2. Put the stand down and leaned the bike over and thought "This doesn't feel right". Luckily, I'm working at my brothers house at the moment, so I could lean it against the wall all day. Bodged it with some threaded stud and 2 nuts for now. Just a reminder it's worth checking torque of all bolts occasionally. (No, I never do either...as we see here)

Hi all, I have a set of genuine Honda wheels for an RD07 - they cost the best part of £1,300 back in 2010 and are still in their Honda boxes with the protective plastic covers on - they are literally like new. I'm debating whether I sell them or keep them as a spare set for my new-to-me AT. Would appreciate any input as to what they might be worth? Pics attached. Thanks

Bu değişiklikler yapıldıktan sonra, motosiklet rölantide ve 90 km/sa hıza kadar mükemmel çalışıyor. Ancak, 90 km/sa'in üzerindeki hızlarda, sabit gazla giderken, motor teklemeye ve düzensiz çalışmaya başlıyor ve yakıt bitiyormuş gibi hissediliyor. Sizce bu soruna ne sebep olabilir? Hi all , I'm in the uk , thinking of selling the above bike , very good condition , any idea on value , motd , recent Hagon mono shock , would make a good classic buy ,or custom project . A few years ago £1250 was average for a private sale , now I'm thinking it's more around £2000 , hard to get a nice one , any thoughts welcome
