Author: cubsur Subject: Weather in Albufeira today Posted: 01/October/2026 at 07:29 Cool and breezy this morning, but should be a fairly nice day. Temperature at 0730 is 17.6º, wind from the north. There is some scattered cloud. It will be a mix of sunshine and clouds today, temperature will rise quickly to low 20's and may reach 27 or 28º by tea-time. It will stay dry and the wind will die down a little. It will be a little warmer tonight, ahead of a mixed day tmorrow, cloudy to begin with and a small chance of some light rain in the afternoon. Looks like some unsettled weather to follow, with showers possible. Still quite warm, in the low 20's daytime.

There's rain around, with some pretty heavy showers heading in our general direction coming from across the sea. Temperature at 0730 is 19.3º, the wind is very light. It won't be very warm today, 23 or 24º at best under the cloud. Showers are possible through the day. It will be windier tonight and coming more from the north, so a bit cooler after dark than it has been. Daytime will be a bit warmer from tomorrow.

Temperature at 0740am is 19.6º, it is very cloudy and there is a bit of breeze. It will stay cloudy all day, maximum temperature 24º but should stay dry. The outlook for the of the week is cloudy, slightly warmer and a small but growing chance of some light rain as we head towards the weekend.

Author: cubsur Subject: Imortal Football Club Albufeira 2026 - 2027 Posted: 28/September/2026 at 10:54 Yesterday Algarve Super Cup Imortal 3 - 2 Olhanense revenge for last year's Cup Final defeat. Scorers - Pimenta, Floro and Cabral. No game for Imortal next week. Their league resumes on 11th October. The B team are scheduled to at home this Saturday at 1800hrs/6pm visitors will be Alvor. Will be played on the secondary (3G) pitch

Algarve Cup 1st Round this coming weekend, so several possible venues not available. Another one I shall miss, returning home the following day, Monday 28th.

On September 27th kicking off at 5pm, at the Estadio Bela Vista in Parchal. Free entry. Not exactly the obvious venue, given the two clubs location.

Author: cubsur Subject: Imortal Football Club Albufeira 2026 - 2027 Posted: 21/September/2026 at 07:48 Saturday in the FA Cup 1st round Imortal 1 - 5 Tondela No mercy from the visiting Liga 2 outfit. Imortal were three down inside the half hour. Mario Duarte pulled one back on 45 minutes, but two more goals around the hour mark finished it off. Backup goalkeeper Botao started, as did Mica Silva a regular substitute until now. Also starting were recent signings Constantinescu and Gonçalves. Whether these changes made the difference we shall never know! I was not there, enjoying instead Kent's vital win in the County cricket championship and Tonbridge struggling to a 2-1 win at home to Ramsgate in the English FA Cup 2nd Qualifying round. Imortal do not play again until 11th October. The League is in effect suspended during the international break. There are however some games to be played, catching up on those postponed over the early weeks of the season. I will report if they affect Imortal's league position. The visitors on 11th October will be GD Portel, ko 3pm / 1500hrs. Imortal team on Saturday was : Botao; Lopes, Pina, Floro, Constantinescu; Gonçalves, Coelho, Nascimento, Mica Silva: Cabral, Duarte. Subs used : Prates, Alves, Baiao and Silveira.

Author: cubsur Subject: Imortal Football Club Albufeira 2026 - 2027 Posted: 14/September/2026 at 09:53 Sunday - Alcochetense 1 - 1 Imortal a game of two penalties and eleven yellow cards. Six of those were for Imortal, five for the home team. Alcochetense took the lead early with the first penalty, Mario Duarte's trusty foot equalised also from the spot. Imortal stay in second place, three points behind leaders Sintrense. Imortal team : Inacio; Dias, Lopes, Floro, Pina; Nascimento, Coelho, Baiao, Pimenta; Cabral, Duarte. Subs used, including some new faces, Miguel Constantinescu, Mica Silva, Gonçalves, Diogo Silva. There are no more league games for a long time. Next weekend though it's the second round of the FA Cup. TV wants to show the game, so Imortal have to be out of bed early on Saturday 19th September for an 11:00am kickoff. Tondela are in Liga 2, having been relegated from the top league at the end of last season. They were down our way on Sunday, beating Portimonense 2-0. No doubt some of Imortal's people were watching.

Author: cubsur Subject: Imortal Football Club Albufeira 2026 - 2027 Posted: 07/September/2026 at 17:41 IMORTAL 0 - 2 SINTRENSE A very poor performance by Imortal. They didn't manage a single attempt on goal during the first half and it wasn't until too late that some sense of urgency came about, but which still yielded only one shot on target, a low curler from Walter Alves that the 'keeper tipped around the post. In fact the first half was devoid of any meaningful action, apart from the first goal scored by Henrique Henriques in the 11th minute. Gonçalo Guido twisted and turned the Imortal defence, had a fairly tame low shot from the edge of area but, inexplicably, Inacio spilled it leaving Henriques with an easy finish. Sintrense were happy to control the game in midfield, they too rarely troubled the Imortal defence, apart from the goal of course. When Imortal did have an opportunity, the midfield duo of Baiao and Rodrigo Silva contrived to lose the ball far too easily. Passes were poor, the long ball down the left wing far too often finding an opponent. At the end of the 45 minutes + 2, there had been a sum total of two shots on goal and one corner, from both teams. Changes were needed by Imortal! Baiao and Silva were both subbed at half time, being replaced by Walter Alves and Mica Silva, the latter confusingly wearing number 28 which wasn't what he wore for the first two games. Author: cubsur Subject: Weather in Albufeira today Posted: 07/September/2026 at 07:10 A hot day ahead, temperature could reach 34º this afternoon. Already at 0705am,it is 26.2º. Wind is very light. There may be some cloud later and it will become windier during the evening. And another very warm night to come. After tomorrow it won't be quite so hot, but still up around 30º daytime. That looks like being the case for at least another ten days. There will be no more on the spot reports for a while.
