Sat Nav not Working

Just picked up a 70plate M135i and the Sat Nav says we are in Munich all the time, is there a way of resetting it or I'm I doing something wrong.

Anyone be crazy enough to retrofit climate control?

Spent last night going through the forum and could not find anything on retrofitting climate control on pre lci e82, I know it’s a hard retrofit but surely someone has done one by now? I have started collecting the parts, I have the unit, wiring harness, actuators and sensors. Still missing a sun sensor and some ducting to the rear as well but not too sure on the rest. Realoem is great normally but makes this look like it’s in 10 different languages. Does anyone have any tips or experience... Anyone be crazy enough to retrofit climate control?

Keep adaptive or go passive Bilstein B8?

My M140i adaptive suspension has done 75k and I'm considering refreshing the shocks whilst I'm changing out the lowering springs at the same time (mtech eibachs). I'm wondering if I should replace with new OE adaptive shocks or go Bilstein B8s. I do mostly city centre driving so do value comfort somewhat. The Bilsteins look good as they offer a bit more performance upgrade and are sized correctly for lowering springs, but its hard to gauge how good they are for city centre town driving... Keep adaptive or go passive Bilstein B8?

M135i Rear Brakes

So I'm finally getting round to changing my rear brakes. I replaced the fronts for 340mm m-lite calipers & discs and all good in that department. Now it's time I did the rears. My question is, what size are the discs and pads? Looking at Brake.parts.co.uk for the bremtech calipers. It looks like the discs are 345x24mm and the shoes 160mm with 16.5mm... M135i Rear Brakes

Bmw 325i E88 Roof gets stuck quarter way down needs gentle push for it to work

I bought my car in January this year and was parked up until August due to needing to fix rear screen as due to the heat became unbonded from the fabric. When you put the roof down it goes down until the boot opens then when the rear lifts up it stops with warning rear latch open . Checked this including the switch even bypassed the switch makes no difference but if you give the roof a gentler push towards the boot it carry’s on and goes down and finishes the operation. It goes up with no... Bmw 325i E88 Roof gets stuck quarter way down needs gentle push for it to work

New purchased M2 OG, 2018 LCI problem.

Hi guys, I am new to the forum. I'm Kuba, from Poland. I just purchased my new to me BMW M2 OG LBB from 2018. LCI model. Clean title, bone stock. I came from M235i, E92 335i and F30 335i, so N55 engine is not a mystery for me. I know N55 platform very well. Even that car is stock, I purchased MHD monitor license for data logs - and all the logs are super clean. I can share if anyone only want to. But M2 chassis is something I have never experienced before. Generally I love the car. The... New purchased M2 OG, 2018 LCI problem.

Electrical power steering fault

I have power steering, abs fault and TC fault on dash. Fault code: 63F8 SW END Stop I just replaced the rack with a second hand from another 1 series. Also the steering sometimes just wants to go left on its own. Clearing it removes the ABS and tc light for 2 minutes than comes back. Any clues? Possibly needs calibration? E81 118d

M240i Long Beach Blue AUC

Like the look of this LBB coupe. Good spec but not sure I like the price though for the mileage. Any thoughts on whether it could be a sound buy on paper at least? Bit far from me to go and have a look. FBMWSH and annual oil changes it seems with plugs, filters, brake pads and tyres possibly given the last MOT advisory, done last month. BN69RKY

DIY'd an OBD Information guage

Been absolutely ages since i've been on here. Made a thing, thought some people might appreciate it. Long since upgraded my F21 for an F87 (OG N55) and while mostly overjoyed I found I still had one common complaint.... the lack of a real temperature gauge. On the 1 series you could access temps via the not so secret menu which was a pain in the ass. On the M2 you can do the same but there's also a fairly basic indicator thing that can be accessed on the dash. Tbh it does the job but was... DIY'd an OBD Information guage

What Did You Do To Your 1 Series Today?

Haven't seen a thread like this on here, So the idea is to post up what you did to your 1 Series. Types of things to post could be cleaning, maintaining, modifying, piloting it around a track, etc. Post pics if you can. This thread could inspire others to do something similar. I'll start... Well as the weather was so bad I decided to paint the discs and calipers front and rear in silver and black to prevent the dreaded orange rust from showing through the wheels. And while was at it i... What Did You Do To Your 1 Series Today?
