What were the primary reasons you gravitated toward Ducati? For me, I was tired of the typical inline 4 and wanted a bike with more character. That’s why I swapped my Honda 600RR for a Ducati 848 EVO. I didn't need a full liter bike, as a middleweight is more than enough for what I need. The trellis frame drew me in, but hearing it start up for the first time is what actually sealed the deal.
Hi all...was just wondering if the rubber on this elbow is replaceable? Tried looking online and see rebuild kits but nothing ever shows that elbow part. Thanks for any help!
I just helped my buddy locate a pristine 2023 Monster+ after he had taken a few years away from riding. He was my riding partner for almost 20 years, so Im thrilled he's jumping back in. He's already modding the Monster with suspension upgrades and the full Termi system. The Monster looks like a fantastic rowdy little bike that would be a hoot to ride. Hes already dropping hints on how I can make room in my garage for one. I found a low miles SP with full Termi system. Now Im... How many Ducatis?
First: I just realized that this very large forum does not have a member racing and trackdays sub-forum. Can that be created? I know there are many members who race and ride their Ducatis on track. Long boring story, skip to the next bold-headed section! The biggest/most powerful motorcycle I had previously ridden on track was an extremely developed original generation Honda CBR600 (F?), aka the original Hurricane. It was owned by my shop owner-friend and we called it "The Rock... My '03 999 and I Did Not Get Along On Track (Updated With Video!)
Hola a todos, me presento con mis dos pequeñas.
Thanks for letting me be part of the forum. Here are my Icon dark 2025 & Sixty2 2017 ( funny thing is that I prefer to ride my sixty2 more). Stefan
Hi all, trying to help out my dad who's not great with the Internet. We're both quite mechanically inclined for what it's worth. He bought a 2004 monster 1000 (around 40,000kms) a few years ago and when its cold its an absolute pig to start. When it's hot its fine and always runs beautifully once it's fired up. When cold it coughs and backfires out the intake and exhaust, and if you touch the throttle or enricher it just makes it worse. You kind of have to catch it with the throttle once... 2004 monster 1000 cold starting issues
Got this 2020 Monster 1200S today from a guy who takes really good care of his stuff. It has 25k miles, and I got it for $7k. Belts done at 24.4k and all desmo in spec. Oil is clean, all brake fluid is clear, no leaks, and good tread on the tires. Excited to get out and ride! Only mod is the SC Project Exhaust. Ignore the turn signals being moved out of the way for the tie downs.
Well, here we are again. Time to watch the zoomie things go around on two wheels (if they're lucky). Vroom vroom. Does Marc take over the championship lead after this round? Mmm possible. Probably not.
listening to testing there are strong rumors of some large seat swaps for 2027. Ducati factory Mark Marques Pedro acosta Honda factory Fabio quatarao Pecco out of Ducati but in a factory seat. Jorge Martin likely out of aprilia 2027 new engines , new tire brand, team swaps It will be an interesting year and seats will be filling fast.
I am still riding my 2002 VTX 1800c. I joined this forum to talk bikes, and now we have other forums posting politics? I know many of us are aging out, just found out my best friend since second grade passed away. Maybe we should stay on topi, there’s more than enough hate to go around already! Just for the record I turn 72 next month.
