I recently had the same problem while using a Komplete kontrol M32 as a MIDI device. Did you get your problem solved? Some Daws disable that port for some reason. If I clicked to enable them in Reason or Sonar I would get a similar message. Studio One just shows a yellow triangle doing it's opening routine so it's not just FL Studio. What I want is not to have to do 2 clicks to close the popup and close the midi settings. Please get rid of that popup.

This is quite specific audio tooling...not sure if FLS is the right DAW for that kind of stuff??

Bump on this topic as I have exactly the same use case, it seems like reaper offers this functionality and its not in FL studio.
