New England Breeder

Hi Everyone ! I am looking for a reputable english lab breeder in New England. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Thanks very much!

Adult tan Labrador - eye stains

Hello everyone, my tan Lab is a fit 5 yrs old specimen and in great health which he mostly exercises a) pulling on the leash like a locomotive a b) running in the park for a couple of hours daily. He does have two dark 'tear stains' and reading about it hints to the role of diet. He only eats kibble and is currently on a 'Forza 10 - fish large breed' (available here in Italy) which was specifically suggested by the vet. I was reading about supposedly 'better' kibble (Acana and Orijen) but... Adult tan Labrador - eye stains

Supraspinatus Tendinopathy

Is anyone familiar with supraspinatus tendinopathy that already shows mineralization? I noticed at 10 weeks old my female's gait was off and had x-rays done at 6 months old to narrow down the issue. She is now 3 years old and her shoulders are getting tighter and she is not able to lift her arms as high as she used to. I am wondering what did you use in regards to supplements or physical therapies and if you eventually did any stem cell or PRP? Also any recommendations are greatly... Supraspinatus Tendinopathy

Advice please

We have an 11 year old female Choc lab who lost her companion a year ago. We can tell that she is showing signs of aging. Shall we get as puppy now or wait until she passes? She is a QUEEN--doesn't tolerate other dogs well until she gets to know them. With summer ending, they will be able to spend much more time out in the fields. We live on an isolated farm and all the dogs run free. We spend a fortunate at the vet to keep the best of health status and we cook food ourselves for... Advice please

New Member

Hi - I'm Lori and have a five year (birthday today) old chocolate labrador *****. She is very loved but does anyone else have one that does not welcome a stroke or cuddle? She tends to walk away as soon as I try to stroke her anywhere. I never attempt to stroke her head, only her back but as soon as I try this, she walks away. It's very dispiriting. She is our sixth labrador - we have, previously, usually had two at the same time, an older and a younger but by the time 'lockdown' came, my... New Member

Raw diet ideas

I am an experienced lab owner and have always fed my pups food brands such as Wellness, and now, with my new pup Orijen. I am considering going in on a raw diet for her, looking for anyone who has experience or recipes they use.

Infection

Last Saturday night we had to rush our 15 year-old chocolate lab to the emergency- the day before she was eating drinking I walked her playing perfectly fine for her age for the things that she would normally be doing- Saturday morning, she didn’t want her kong- the day before she was fine so she seemed I wound up making her chicken and rice and she did eat that and then went to her water bowl to drink some water and then she lay down and she seemed OK. We had been out for a little bit came... Infection
