Change fork oil at 6000 miles?

My 2024 Bullet 350 has over 5000 miles on the clock. The RE maintenance schedule calls for replacing the fork oil at 6000 miles. I don't ride off road or dirt roads but only the occasional dirt parking lot. Have you all changed your fork oil at 6000 miles? It looks like a lot of work if not really necessary. TIA.

Blind Wheel Bearing Puller?

I need to pull my bearings for the upgrades I'm doing. I've tried a cheap blind hole puller set, but the spacer being nearly identical in inside diameter isn't allowing that type of puller to work. Has anyone pulled their bearings? And what did you use? The spacer prevents drifting them out. And although my bearings are still good, I'm going to put some SKF bearings replacements in. I have no idea of the factory quality bearings. But I do know SKF makes good bearings. I think RE uses... Read more

A Cautionary Tale …

A fellow rider, a Himalayan rider, was suffering while riding. He sought a low cost component solution … the quality and delivery was not good. I had purchased a high quality version of the component. But no longer needed it, through this forum I offered it to the rider at 50% of the price I had paid. His payment to me was made by an online payment service. I posted the item … This is where I got stupid … The address was to a postal parcel box, in Northern Ireland, not a home address. The... Things Suddenly Moved Quickly

Well, since this has it do with three of the Herd, I guess I'll post it here. Within a week, my Scram is off to a new owner (dear friend), and my brother came and picked up my Interceptor 650 Wednesday. It was very cool of him too. We just got the 650 loaded up in his truck and he says, "There's room. Do you want me to take Q (Qlink XP200) and sell it for you?" Hell yah! The next morning he calls me and says he already sold it to his barber. The best part? All three are gone without having... Read more

Healtech Thunderbox

Dear all, I have purchased a Healtech Thunderbox and intend to connect some aftermarket spotlights to my Him 450. My query is do I connect each spotlight separately to two of the 4 ports available on the Thunderbox or just combine both spotlights together at the box and connect leaving 3 ports free. Which is correct/ best Thanks for any constructive replies

About the C350 fuel tank

Specifically talking about the models that have the chrome plus another color tank, like a red or bronze. Is this a chrome tank with the color painted over it? I remember reading somewhere that RE was able to figure out how to paint over the chrome, either that or I was dreaming. LOL Which brings me to the question. Will stripping the paint off one of these tanks "reveal" a fully chromed fuel tank? Inquiring minds would like to know

Euro 5 411 to 443 build complete!

1st off, thanks to @Dool2 for all his help along the way AND setting the blueprint for what can be achieved with a 443 build. I have finished the major parts of my build to my 2023 Scram. It is a Euro 5 with the ECU on the throttle body. So, it is possible. All should translate to the Euro 5 Himmys. So far..... Opened stock intake plenum (removed fins, heated and reshaped) and rotated to face forward Port/polished the throttle body and intake Port/polished head with oversized... Read more

Clock changes itself

The clock on my 350 will occasionally change the time to some random number. I haven't noticed when it does it, just that I will see it is wrong sometimes. Has anyone else noticed this? Any fixes out there?
