Figured I’d go through and create a build thread for my 2015 5.7 Crewmax Blue Ribbon 4x4. I’ve had the truck about 4 years, so I don’t know whether to start from the beginning or what. I’m just gonna go through my photos and post what I got. I bought a grille immediately. Trying to get rid of that chrome. All leds are still working. It’s an EAG grille I got off ebay . I plastidipped the chrome hood bulge, then Rustoleum bedliner on... Blue Ribbon 4x4 Build Thread
Hi all, this is a bit sad, but it's time to move on to another project. I bought this truck bone stock in black and started the process of making it bulletproof for the trail and camping. There is a lot of other things that I am missing from the list, but it was a big build with no expenses spared. The Supercharger was just installed it made a huge difference for the weight and acceleration with the low down torque. I bought the truck for 80 and spent nearly $150k in parts and labor on the... 2020 TRD Pro Fully built for Overlanding
I have an 08 5.7 limited. Hit a deer took it to mechanic to have front bumper replaced. Drove it home at night 10 miles no problem. Woke up next morning to go to work and drove about a mile down the road. VSC and 4 Lo blinking. Engine light on and traction control on. Truck running fine and normal. Got to work about 10 miles away. Went to leave work started up and died. Wouldn’t start. Had codes related to vvt p0015 p0012 p0025 (stored) and pending codes. Mechanic says I have a broken... 2008 5.7 limited timing chain sudden failure
I need to relocate my power steering cooler due to my winch and bumper. Anyone done this on a 2.5 gen?
Bought a 2000 Tundra to have a capable off road vehicle. Nothing crazy, just a dependable rig for hunting and camping. Decided to go with a TC 3.5" long travel kit and 35s and go from there. [GALLERY=media,... 2000 Tundra build
Hi I’m 16 this is my 2003 tundra 3.4 v6 sr5 129k been in family since new
I ended up buying an aftermarket weld-in octagon cam adjuster kit for my 2004 AC. I’m wondering where i should preliminarily set the octagon shaped tabs at? I have a 2”+ front lift and still have the stock UPAs. I eventually plan to get a pair of JBA UCAs and install them before i get my truck aligned, but for now i’d like to get it somewhat kinda close. And i’m pretty sure the steering is currently out of alignment. This is the kit i bought…... 1st gen LCA cam tab alignment figures?
9/5/2026 Cartrimhome reached out to me this week to let me know they are running a Labor Day Weekend sale on both versions of the C12, as well as a lot of other products on their website. Between the sale and the 10% discount code, it will bring the price down by $200 . So if you are planning on buying one or are debating it still... now is the time to buy it! The sale ends September 9th. Discount Code: C12AW ... Cartrimhome 14.6" C12 Radio
Old subject but new issue for me. The JBL system in my 2017 - 1794 started the reboot dance. When downloading the update from Toyota I put in the truck's VIN and description and my truck popped up. It said update available, but the only Model ID is different than the one in my truck. Before I go this route, I cleared the Bluetooth and reinstalled my phone as some have said that may work. That may be the cause because I wear hearing aids that share the phones Bluetooth. I'm going to run it... Factory JVC keeps rebooting
This weekend I bought a 2025 Tundra Limited 4WD TRD Off Road and love it already but want to accomplish a couple things out of the gate. 1) Level the stance - based on what I see the most economical way that doesn’t diminish ride quality or tear other shit up is the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shock. - I welcome any similar solutions where it is felt the quality of the shock or ride would be an improvement for a similar price +|- 2) If strongly recommended I would also consider... New to Tundra - Suspension Question
I noticed that when I go over bumps at higher speed the rear axle has a tendency to shift right, making it seem like I'm about to lose the rear end. Any rhyme or reason for this to happen?
