Hello. I have a V40 SE D2, 2013 and the rear parking sensors have stopped working, together with the error message on the display. It is cheaper to do this myself, with a sensor costing around £20. If I took it to a garage they would charge at least £100. Hopefully it is just one sensor but until I find my OBD reader I will not know. I have been searching online for a video on how do do this but cannot find anything. Does anybody know of any videos online which have a walkthrough for doing... Changing Reversing Sensor

The front bumper, wheels and wheel arch liners were off recently for a job, so I thought I might as well remove the sill covers too and inspect the bodywork underneath. There are two of these clips on each side which need removing, according to VIDA. They don't seem to be the kind of clip where you press the centre part in to release - I've tried pushing, pulling, and levering with screwdrivers/picks to no avail. Hi guys. Like many people here, my undertray fell off. I have postponed installing a new one for some time but have bought a new fixings kit. Today I was looking under the car and I really could not understand where the u-nuts (the bottom row in the picture) would fit. I have done a lot of stuff to my V40 and am quite confident in my DIY habilities so I think I'm just being slow here. Can somebody please guide me on how I would install the u-nuts for the undertray? I don't think this... Can't figure out engine undertray fixings kit

Hi guys, I have 2013 R-Design and my bumper is going for repair next week, the front tow hook cover is missing out. Does anybody know of any place that sell this cover (apart from the dealer and ebay.uk since shipping is very expensive to where I'm from)? For reference, this is the cover I'm talking about:

Someone bumped into my side mirror, and the glass popped out and was just hanging by the wire. It was an unpleasant road, and I didn’t have much time to check things, so I just snapped the glass back in and drove off. However, a small plastic "clip/tab" came off, like the white ones in the attached photo. What is its purpose? Everything seems to be working without it so far... Morning all, has anyone else noticed from frozen, the roof has 2 obvious 3 inch circles that defrost first? Positioned on the roof mid point near the edge on both sides. Other than taking the roof liner down, I wonder what it is thats causing it?

Hi All, Unfortunately, someone has done a hit and run on my 2017 V40 R Design, and dented the front wheel arch, rear wheel arch and corners of the doors, along with leaving some lovely deep scratches along the doors. Insurance wants to write the car off, but I'm currently planning on getting it repaired privately. Hi. I need to replace the tailgate release handle and panel of my V40. I found a second hand spare part but I'm wondering how to disassemble my original piece from the tailgate. Any suggestions or anything to pay attention to? Thanks.

Hello all. Another Blis query.. I notice that the V60 S60 and XC60 models have 31429893 (all plastic exterior) as the Blis sensor part while the V40 has 31406561 Aluminium/Plastic. Was the all plastic (V60) type an upgrade knowing the V40 kind has corrosion water ingress problems problems? Side by side the size seems similar with only the flat arear being smaller on the V60 kind. So here is the query, can the V40 kind be replaced with the V60 kind as 4 sensors in less then 5 years seems... Blis sensor upgrade?

I've got a MY16 V40 II and when I replaced the bulb with brighter bulbs, I noticed one of the clips is loose, so the bulb easily pops out even after clipping it back in. This is my first time replacing a bulb, I made sure the alignment matched the old bulb, the type is H7, I pushed it forward to remove the old bulb and pulled it back to secure it, but it pops out when light force is applied. Should I get a nail file and bend it back or is there something I'm missing here? If the thing... Halogen headlight clip loose

Hello! This morning I stupidly tried to open my drivers door without defrosting the car, the exterior door handle is now stuck outwards (cannot push it back in), the door is closed and the interior door handle does nothing. All the solutions I can find online require the door to be open to remove the exterior handle and I don't know how I could get access to open the door with it firmly shut. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looking to replace at least one of the headlights due to the outer shell cracking as it was cleaned with a chemical. My car is a 2015 r design, just want to check that the lights from this would work fine? As far as I can see they are the exact same, but wanted to make sure.
