2016 WRX stock engine, only mod is Brembo's, not a daily driver, weekend car, put about 3500/year on it. Bough used about 4 years ago with 94,000 miles on it, at 97,000, 2 years ago, I had the clutch replaced, because the throw-out bearing was making noise, by a shop recommended for Subarus. After the new clutch, the shifting seemed notchier, it would go away as it warmed up but was stiff when cold. It's at 104,000 now, finally got around to changing the gearbox and rear axle oil and found... 2016 WRX Gearbox question.

The stock exhaust on subarus isnt very loud. My question is which aftermarket parts of the exhaust system are necessary to buy to make it better and louder. Like would just a new muffler or the last part that you see cut it or do you need a whole new system? Thanks!

Had my ac belt snap today then caused the car to stumble and shut off, found a strand of belt behid the crank pulley, it was easy to fish out but im having codes for injector #4 and #3 im guessing either it broke the crankshaft toothed gear or timing skipped ? How common is this, car turns on but super rough like it running on 1 cylinder, help ? It happened at idle i wasnt on boost or high rpm when it snapped just idling in traffic, shut it off immediatly but i suspected the belt had taken... Ac belt snapped car shut off stumbling

I am having a strange issue with my 2009 WRX. When I first start driving there is no issues. After about 5 min I hear a clunking sound from the rear. Garage can't find the issue. Any ideas?

Our 2017 WRX does not have a check engine light on but does not accelerate as it should. We have owned the car for 4 months and it has 52000 miles. The engine slows its acceleration rate after 4200 RPM and seems to accelerate at that sluggish rate up to 6000 RPM. It will backfire occasionally. I am looking for advice on where to start in the trouble shooting process. Thank you

Hey everyone!, So it finally happened my WRX blew the headgaskets and I'm doing a motor rebuild on it as it was overheating and warped the heads. I intend to deck the block and heads to get it running again, but I'm wondering if I should do some even deeper upgrades and work on it. I'm mainly looking for advice on what parts I should upgrade while the motor is out as well if there's a pretty easy build/parts to put on to get a bit more out of the engine. I'd love to answer all the questions... What to do with my EJ25 on my 2008 WRX

Hello all. It is fairly common knowledge that the FA24 in the BRZ has an oiling issue under hard cornering, such as Autocrossing, but I was curious if the turbo variant in my VB WRX also has the same potential issue. Thanks in advance for any advice.

TLDR: 2010 WRX 5-speed MT 172k miles, needs some work. Leaking power steering/ac comp. Occasional squealing belt(s). Replace motor or change timing/water/oil/head gaskets? hi guys!! was think if any one here could help me... i'm think about give my wrx some self tuning via trial and error... But can't seems to find a good tuning kit to begain with... I was told to try Elmscan 5 compact with Scanxl pro , So do u guys advice me to begain with this set or do any one have a better recommendation for me? THanks alot.. will apprecaite it!!

I'm looking to get a 2-step launch control for my 2004 wrx. The main reasons I want it is because ignition cut so it's technically safer for your engine and I also want flames and loud big pops. Please I don't want any of you to say stuff like learn how to launch properly or flames are ricey and annoying. I know how to launch but it would just be a nice feature and I really want flames and loud bangs without having to put a spark plug into my exhaust. I was looking at the bee rev limiter but... 2 step launch control

I can only get 10psi boost from my new 2025 wrx. Why is that?
