I've been chasing a mystery clunk and loose steering off-road for the last five years in my 2014 Trail. Luckily my driving is mostly highway so I've ben able to minimize the circumstances while the cause has remained elusive for five different mechanics. Over the last year I essentially replaced every front end suspension component and done a deep dive on the truck in the last month. I just picked up a 1998 4Runner for my wife, and am looking for a reliable, solid phone mounting mechanism for her. She wants the phone to be at about the same height as the dash. Window suction cup based units never seem to stay in place for long. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Another day in the 4Runner life. My daughter let me know the Air conditioner stopped working in her 07 with a V-6. It's been cooling off, so it wasn't an emergency. The problem is, Blower does not work at any speed. All the lights work on the control panel, but no air or heat, and compressor will not cycle on. Is there a special fuse or relay somewhere that needs checking?
