F5j team selection competition results have been calculated - thanks to Pete Mitchell. Now posted on the SFTC web site. (This of course is just the aggregated results for best 2/3 selection comps in 2026. Actual team selection on the basis of these results - and who is up for going to fly the 2027 World Championships in the States - happens nearer the time.)

Hi Pete. I didn’t record any wind speeds, but I’d say they were pretty much on forecast. Sunday was quite gusty anywhere between 9 and 13mph as a guess.
The events I'm referring to were held at Buckminster not Barkston Pete. John M
Most excellent JT ….looking forward to seeing it
Thanks for the report, Alex! Can I ask if anyone recorded the actual wind speeds on contest days? I'm interested in how well the forecasts matched reality. Apologies if I've missed that in the attachments
Looks like the forum software has changed again. So the layout of the table on post 1 is now an image - TBH, that does make life easier for the league table. Apologies, I didn't update last months table correctly, brain fade,,
Well done David, you have aced that one.. September challenge is up, league table will follow shortly
Perhaps the refund rules at Barkstone (for instance) were different? I believe it's National Centre policy to refund in this case.
Thanks for the note Pete. But no, I haven't had any communication from Nick. He may need reminding of their decision taken a few years ago not to refund entry fees. I'll take it up with the chairman Greg Lewis - again and see what transpires. John M
Heres My dad and me I believe its a Solotaire.....but can be corrected.
