Cabin entry door will not stay latched for some reason. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Spray lubricant inside regularly. Time for replacement? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a 07 40 dancer. While at cruise it’s difficult for me to see while sitting. I would love to replace the helm chair post for a taller one, or maybe add an extender. Curious if anyone has done anything like this with any success? Thanks

My son recently purchased a new to us 1998 500DA. All of the hatch support struts were worn / failed. We searched and ordered a number of options and found liftsupportsdepot.com to be easy to navigate and ID the needed struts, great quality, and fair pricing. Just thought to share if anyone else is looking to update / replace their struts. Our particular boat used Part # SE200P40-W for $16.39ea shipped.

Showed up at the slip this past holiday weekend to find my starboard side blower vent cover (SR P# 1788403) had come loose and snapped off. (Guessing these don't float as nobody found anything in the harbor.). My port side has a couple of cracks but is still affixed pretty solidly to the hull from what i can tell. I've searched high and low on these forums as well as the internet and the consensus I've arrived at so far is I'm just plain out of luck on finding one and in a pretty bad... Where can I find a new step for a 470 Sundancer to replace this broken one? How much would it cost?

I know there’s lots of threads about gas cap replacements but I couldn’t find anything recent. I have a 2004 280 Sundancer, and like many others, I dropped the waste cap. It fell right between the boat and the dock about an 8” space. I’ve been on all the sites and no luck. I’m not looking for an exact replacement. I went on the Perko website. Is there any others? Looking for suggestions, Thanks

Hello everyone, we just bought our first boat a 2001 340 Sundancer Survey went well mechanical survey went well, but as luck would have it after the first ride out , we started getting a warning horn every 20-30 mins or so, stays on for 2-3 seconds so we couldn’t figure out what it was finally saw that it was the emergency base pump light. I opened up the hatch and it’s very dry, hardly any water but the pump does come on. I have heard this may be a common problem, can anyone confirm... Before I start yanking on it, can anyone tell me with some certainty how these come out of the ceiling? These things are between me and inspecting and rebedding the bow rail hardware. Are they just christmas tree fasteners or is it something else? I've tried to be gentle using a plastic automotive trim kit but didn't want to use more force without some insight as to what's holding it in. 2006 260DA.

I have a 1988 27' Amberjack with twin Mercruiser outdrives. Several years ago I upgraded to Raymarine hydraulic steering and autopilot. I spend most time trolling at slow speeds and all works fine. When I power up the steering becomes very hard to turn. It is usable and I've gotten used to it, but now I'm wondering if this is normal or how to fit it. Any ideas?

Has anyone removed the starboard motor valve cover for cylinders 1-3-5 without removing the exhaust manifold, riser and spacer? Any info would be appreciated .2001 280 Sundancer 4.3 merc cruiser. Thanks, Glenn
