Joseph_Oster: You forgot to internalize geometry in your GH file Sorry, will upload it later. Joseph_Oster: That’s very important if the structure is going to actually be constructed. May be less important than you think. But maybe you have other experiences with planning/constructing gridshells. In my experience, we’ve always compared a few parameters including repetition. Of course, it makes sense to have some size families – this is often the case with translational surfaces, and there’s often symmetry in the projects. And the glass usually has to be cut to size anyway. But I’m by no means an expert in grid shells, and perhaps someone (you) has had completely different experiences with them.

Hi @Jim_Girard Are you sure, that it’s not just Rhino still saving the file? What’s on you screen looks like a very dense mesh, and files like that can take quite a lot of time to save, even on newer systems. What’s the file size? HTH, Jakob
Baris: In this one you can stay with one panel size. That’s very important if the structure is going to actually be constructed. You forgot to internalize geometry in your GH file.

Hi Jaxx - Jaxx: In Windows the method to “Save As” + selecting .dwg format allowed layouts to be exported too. Hmm. In a quick test, I don’t see that here on Windows. Jaxx: The alternative to use “Export” to .dwg […] The alternative to the Windows SaveAs command on macOS is the ExportAll command. But, as on Windows, I don’t see the option to also export layouts to the dwg file. In Rhino 9, there is the new ExportLayout command that was written for this purpose. -wim
Hi, I’m also interested at €350. I sent you a private message a couple of weeks ago but perhaps you didn’t see it. If the license is still available, please let me know. I’m happy to complete the official license transfer through McNeel. Thanks!
