I wanted a 2 gang dimmer switch relocating on the opposite side of my kitchen and surprised to see the electrician had run 4 twin and earth cables from the old switch to the new. Surely one triple and earth would have done it? I looked behind the switch and there is only one live in, looped to the second dimmer and two switched lives out. Am I missing something

So now its legal in uk whats people's view on how safe plugging in solar panels into a socket and do people think its actually the safest way or should it be connected into the fuseboard properly wether a small or.big system through double pole switch gear and bi directional.rcbos

My internet router has been changed as part of the digital upgrade roll-out. The Solis WiFi Datalogger page on the SolisCloud monitoring site still shows the old WiFi network name. How do I update it please?

So today my dad said had I been messing about with the sb inverter the cast metal bottom lugs had both cracked and the unit looked like it had been blown open at the bottom we were perplexed . So time to open it up on closer inspection the fan part had been blown out the top right there was a 4.5 inch round black thing that part of it had exploded I figured this was the problem without going any further so having turned off the array and the AC isolators . Hello, Can anyone tell me where I can buy one brand new apart from direct from the manufacturer for an eye watering £178. Rexel have it listed for £65 but when I contacted them they said that it had removed from their product catalogue and there was no stock in the business whatsoever. I called my local branch and they said they can get one as a special order for £161.42 plus £30 delivery. More than me buying direct from Coughtrie! I know there are second hand... Read more

Looking for some help I have been asked by a family member to install a 20m (5x4) RGBW led tape I think I will need 2 x 300w drivers but my question is where is best to physically install them and is it best to connect the 240v side via a ceiling rose or whatever? Just wary of placing the driver hidden in the roof space Welcome suggestions and best practice for installing this led in a square format Thanks Alan Moved from "introduce yourself"
