Recommendation on real estate agent/attorney (Crete)

Hi folks, we're interested in purchasing a retirement property in Crete (anywhere in the Chania/Rethymnon/Heraklion propers) - have been to the island a couple of times and we loved it. We're interested in new (or semi-new) build, just to cut down on the headache of fixing up. As we're both still employed in the US (but able to work remote), we won't be at the property all the time (and we do not plan on renting it out on AirBnB or anything like that). My better-half is keen on a place... Recommendation on real estate agent/attorney (Crete)

RDVPref

Just received a text from the above and want to check with you all if it is legitimate. It says "your appointment at the prefecture is available! Register at Rendez-vous Préfecture to receive an email and SMS alert and book your slot as soon as it opens." Is this a good website to help people get appointments, or alerting me that I need to make an appointment, or perhaps I can just ignore this? Thank you.

Selling my property in France

Hello all, Unfortunately, after living in France for five years, I need to sell my property and move back to the US (terrible timing!). The property is already listed with an agency and they have posted it on several common French sites, such as leboncoin. However, I wasn't terribly impressed with those listings, so I created a website to help market the property. Might I ask for suggestions on places to post a link to my site in order to better reach international prospective buyers? For... Selling my property in France

Hello everyone! New member here

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new here and still figuring out my way around the forum. I've always found expat life and living abroad interesting, so I'm looking forward to reading about everyone's experiences and learning a few things along the way. Hopefully, I'll get to know some of you as I spend more time here. Feel free to say hello!

New to Expat Forum

Hello, I'm Manny I'm brand new to the expat forum, never used this site before but I'm excited to see how it works out for me. I'm living here in the Philippines. Came here about a year ago to be with my wife, whom I've been with for nearly 3 years. I'm hoping to talk to new expats and network around. Maybe make some friends? Who knows. Anyway, drop me a line, say hello if you can. Would be nice to get to know some new people. Take care guys!
