Managed to pick up a used Viper 01 E3 1096 exhaust can and link on eBay in good condition for £50 for my 05 fzs1000. Stock pipe was just a little to quite for my liking. Fitted this weekend. Bike sounds absolutely bloody lovely now. No low spots and seems to run fine. Enjoying a few more pops and bangs. Can’t imagine there are many knocking about now but would recommend. Looking for a replacement air filter if anyone can locate one.

Hello ? I'm Kevin and I used to be a Fazer 600 rider in Leeds way back when and was a member on here round about 2005. Met one or 2 of you at Squires. I traded up after 5 years to a Sprint for touring with the better half reasons and had that for another 5 or so. Never did gel with it as much as the Fazer... Anyway life and family got in the way but the pull of a bike is strong now even though I'll probably not have much time to enjoy it! I'm taking a refresher day soon and hope to get an idea whether I'm making the right decision and what bike might be my next. Foxeye Fazer was just so good at it all, it's hard to find something a bit more modern and more made for weekend hour or so which might fit the bill. Anyway, happy to return here and jump back in.

Hi all, I dissambled the gas gap of my FZS600 to clean it and remove all the rust. I am now left with a small spring and a tiny ball I don't understand where they go. Those are the pieces in red in the picture attached. Does anyone know where they go when remounting? I'm also not sure or the orientaiton of the blue part. Should the big ball be placed like on the picture and the plastic 8shaped too? thanks a lot for your help Laurent IMG_0186-EDIT.jpg (Size: 119.96 KB / Downloads: 2)

Possibly looking to get a Gen 1 Thou front mudguard professionally painted, no repairs required at all, only small stone chips on it. It’s painted in original Yamaha silver 3 a metallic paint. Who would do the best match and paint job? And an idea of the cost? Years since I had anything painted professionally. Many thanks! ?
