Is it just me, or is one outer layer of bubble wrap to ship a carbon seat post enough? And a layer (not covering all of the pedals) enough to protect the pedal bolt from the post? surely knowing how poor couriers cán be, packaging should be way better than this??

Hello Probably a unique question: my son, 14, lives in Hillcrest (I live in the UK), and I think he may want to start riding some of the 20k/40k mtb rides. When I lived there, several years ago, I was a ROAG member and attended many of the 40k rides around KZN. I see that ROAG is no more, replaced by ride-online. If he'd like to do these KZN rides, what is the procedure for him to do so? I assume he'd have to join as a ride-online member, but how then does he get entry to the events? ROAG used to have a decent interface, and the closest I can find is entryninja. Is that the correct entry platform to use for him? Tks Dean

Hi all, I am looking to purchase a pair of sunglasses for road cycling and would love your feedback on the brands and styles you love and why. I wear glasses, so up until now I have been cycling with my glasses but I realised that I get exercise-induced rhinitis (EIR) - which basically means my nose runs like a river when I exercise. And I've researched that full coverage glasses help with this so I would like to switch to wearing contacts with sunglasses. I know one can spend a lot of money on sunglasses but I'm looking at a budget to mid-range option. Looking forward to your comments :) Thank you in advance!

Hi. I'm doing an 80km gravel race in a month. First time doing something like this and a bit nervous using my current setup. Scott 960 with Schwalbe Nobby nics. Im no race snake and just want to complete the race in a decent time but at the same time don't want to struggling due to tyres. Will changing the tyres to gravel make a significant difference?
