Was given the heads up on this announcement earlier but it’s now official - Brighton and Hove Tri has been acquired by Supertri and sits alongside Blenheim in their UK portfolio. I know the guys who have managed this for the last few years after taking it over from John Lunt - same crew behind the Eastbourne Tri which has won various awards over the last couple of seasons. Eastbourne event will remain outside Supertri. The Argus – 1 Sep 26 Popular Brighton triathlon acquired by global events company For the upcoming event this Sunday, September 6, Brighton and Hove Triathlon will still run under its original branding.

Probably someone in marketing thought branding with 100 was better than 112
Jorgan: That’s roughly aping the WT ‘O2’ (middle) distance 3/80/20 FTFY
That’s roughly apeing the WT ‘O2’ (middle) distance 2/80/20?
Challenge Gran Canaria is changing to the 100K format next year, and a split race with the pros on Sunday so everyone can watch. Not sure if it’s a permanent change or just because of the PTO race
Coros is probably the main one these days after Garmin, that isn’t Apple.
30 minute spin class first thing. 20 minute hard run at lunch.
I only have the FR160 as a day be-seen light. But would definitely look at the high-power options if needed because they are a very ‘clean’ option for one piece carbon bars that aren’t round (albeit less battery life due to size).
10km early morning run club at work Faster group this morning Loved the crisp autumn morning Loved the lack of hot water in the work showers less so
Ended up running 3 times today, which is not normal behaviour by any stretch of the imagination. Just the way the day planned out with the kids home for the BH weekend. This morning 6km with Mrs FT & #2 , nice and easy. Lunchtime, #1 who is in the Army reserves had some PT homework & we alternated 2 mins hard on the treadmill with a bunch of press-ups, squats, lunges and… his little addition… speed chess (he won) This evening a relaxed 10km on the bridleways, again with #1 . Also have signed up for a race… Weymouth half marathon in March. Long way off, but something to keep me honest over the winter hopefully.
Rode my bike
