I had a new battery put in for the 2012 Chevy volt and I guess they also replaced this part but they kept my initial one in the trunk, does it have any value if I want to sell it or is it not worth it

Try this first. A replacement actuator is no longer easily available. Many have reported going to salvaged parts. Before going down that path I followed my grandfather's advice. "When all else fails, hit it with a hammer". Remove plastic wheel well liner. Move rubber dust/water shield out of the way. Push release button on fob. If you hear a faint click, that's the relay firing. The problem is the actuator. Rap on it a couple of times. Don't have to be aggressive, at first. Push release... Hello, My 2014 volt has generally charged up to 44-47 miles since I purchased it new. Recently, sometimes it charges to 51. When it charges to 51 miles, it drops the additional battery miles quickly when I start driving (even if driving on gas Hold). When it gets down to its normal battery range, it behaves normally using electric miles. Any thoughts on what is going on? Thanks!

I just got a 2012 Chevy volt with about 174,000 miles on it. I love the car so much except for a few things that I have brushed off until recently. I got it last winter and I never knew about battery mode it was constantly in range extention mode, it would constantly use the engine. Now in the summer its gone into battery mode and from a full charge I get about 15 miles out of the battery. Howdy. Does anybody know how to reset the a.m. warning message? It popped up after I replaced the 12 V battery. The red battery symbol is also lit. (I did not connect any standby voltage supply to the 12 V system while doing it.) With power on (READY) there is no charging voltage on the poles. (It drops from 12.7 V to 12.5 V.) With the HV charger on, there is only a slight voltage increase to 13.1 V. Earlier measurements showed 14.0-14.5 V, prior to old battery went bad. There are no...
