Seems like some obvious answers, but as somewhat still a newbie I figured I'd ask for advice. There may be strategies/solutions I haven't thought of. How do you handle sun so bright in front of you that you literally can't see? My set-up is that I'm usually wearing a full face or modular helmet that has an interior sun visor. Unfortunately, these are not always as dark as dedicated dark visors, but I do like the convenience, and it works or me 95% of the time with no issues. But that... How do you handle REALLY BRIGHT sun in your face?

Just bought my new to me Chieftain after coming off a Harley. I'm from a small village in British Columbia, Canada🇨🇦 & am proud to say this my 48th year on bikes and still learning everyday 👍
On my [new to me] 2020 Springfield base model I noticed the left front amber turn signal lens has a long crack in it. I also noted a pinch tab on either side which indicates it can be simply popped out of the bullet housing and a new one inserted. However, my web search, calls to Indian and eventually to Custom Dynamics, who appear to make their OEM turn signals, hit brick walls. I'm being told I must spend $150-180 to replace the entire turn signal (all $12 of it). If that's so, why even... Replacement turn signal lens?
Light tint LRS Tomahawk Elite recurve windshield. No dings or scratches. Less than 3 months old.
PV3 with cable and handlebar mount. Used only for a few months. Traded the bike and no longer needed. It was "married" to my bike so buyer will need to purchase a new license.
Hey, new to the Indian Forum as a 32 year of owning another Indian has finally been realized, I just bought my new to me Chieftain in Thunder Black after coming off a Harley. I'm proud to admit this is my 48th year riding, learning & loving the freedom of being on bikes!
Have the parts mentioned in the title on the way. Am I going to need a tune if I install both? I'd like to wait and do the tune over the winter and install the parts now. I could install just the exhaust need be but would prefer to get them both done.
I keep getting asked about making heel shift levers for Scouts, even from dealers. When I look online I see several options exist already. Does anyone know if there is an issue with the existing available option/s? Form, fit, function? Aesthetics, install difficulties….?
Every now and then I go to the Indian site and check out the apparel and usually just laugh at the prices. But sometimes they have great deals in their clearance section just not my size. Well finally I found a couple things and received them today. MAN THEY ARE NICE!!! Very heavy and great fit. This is what I got. Well worth the money!! My birthday presents to me. I posted this over in the Scout forum, but I was hoping to get a little more visibility here. I've got a 2016 Scout and I'm currently switching from the stock bars to 16" FMB Mercenary Ape Hangers. Since the Mercenarys are 1", I'm running into an obvious problem with the stock electronic throttle sleeve and assembly being made to fit the stock 7/8 bars. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Will any aftermarket 1" throttle assembly work? Or, does it have to be indian specific?
