Hello fellow Insighters. I just purchased a 2010 Insight with over 200k miles that has IMA issues. This is my third Honda hybrid so I'm familiar with normal IMA operation. The car is starting with the starter rather than the electric motor. The 12 volt battery is charging at about 13.7 volts when checking the voltage directly on the battery posts with a multimeter while idling. It was at 11.2 volts originally before starting the engine. I just replaced the original battery with a known... 2010 Insight with IMA issues. Any input appreciated.

OK this is in the very early stages but I've now got a use for that 3.5mm aux serial connector on the OBDIIC&C! Use it to send data to an Android Phone/Head Unit App either direct using a serial to USB converter or an ESP8266. Basically the App V1 mimics the OBDIIC&C 20x4 LCD screen and the 5 way button controls. Swipes and taps etc do exactly what you would expect. This demo video shows the G2/CRZ version but I shall incorporate the screen mirror and functionality into the G1 OBDIIC&C... OBDIIC&C Android App.. (Finally!)

UPDATE: My main fuse has no continuity UPDATE 2: With a new main fuse, comes a new code. Scenario: After a few days of intermittent P1575 codes, I went about a week without any issues or symptoms. Then this morning about 3 blocks in to my 50 mile work commute I feel the assist cut, look down and see the CEL, 12V, and IMA lights on. Within 500 ft I turned into a parking lot and noticed regen and assist are missing. In the distance it took me to turn around in the mouth of this parking lot... (P1575- Solved? P1577- Pls stop)Crisis of faith, looking for opinions and... insight.

Anyone know if any development is happening around Honda's i-MMD system? The earliest cars would be the ~2013 Accord hybrid. You also have the Clarity, 3rd gen Insight, 4th gen Fit/Jazz. The 4th gen Fit is finally dropping into the range I'd call "cheap". I'm not sure what communities are working on modifying these. There would be heavy overlap with the G3 Insight.

Summary: What I am looking for to save you time reading my original post below. Can you post trusted Auto Repair shops in the United States that have knowledge and experience with the Gen 1 Honda Insight. Hi folks, Have an 8 year old BumbleBee 8aH pack that I just pulled out of my new (to me) Insight and replaced with LiBCM. It was still functioning well when I pulled it, the previous owner noted that he had grid charged it. I drove the car from LA to San Diego with the BumbleBee pack and it performed well. Also have the grid charger set-up, and willing to part out the pack as necessary. Just wanting to avoid paying Greentec $30 to recycle my battery. PM for details or to arrange getting a... The smart entry for the driver side door stopped working a while ago. At the same time I lost remote start and walk away lock. I tried everything that I was capable of before going to the dealership. Changed both fob batteries. Checked and reset all the settings. Opened and closed all doors, hood and trunk. Turned child locks on and off. Locked and unlocked doors with the key. Realized durring all this that the passenger side door does unlock with smart entry. When I took it in they said it... Smart entry not working on drivers side.
