Is anybody else seeing this? From my own anecdotal experience: $1.99 books seem to be 10 points, $2.99 books are 15 points, and probably onward and upward. I have no idea what the points are for though.

Authors who have published at least one book (or have been writing for years), if you were to go back and do it all over again, what would you do differently? For me, regarding fiction, it would be to plan out a series before starting and then start with book one. It sounds so basic, but it sure took me a while to figure that one out.

Just published my 6th book (dark gothic/paranormal romance, EN + ES) — went top 1% of 14,570 entries in the Novel Beginnings contest along the way. Built my own full production pipeline doing it myself: Vellum formatting, cover design, Amazon sales copy, KDP setup. I've started taking on a few other authors' books to do the same for — mostly because I like the process and want to keep doing it between my own releases. If you're sitting on a finished manuscript and the publishing side...
