Hi, my wife and I have been away for our first weekend in our new Marco Polo, and after arriving at our chosen forest campsite (no mains power) and setting up, all was well until approx 24hrs in when we received a msg saying that the 12v main vehicle battery was critically low. We started and ran the engine for a while and the error stopped but came back in about an hour. This time we left it and eventually the electric side door stopped working. We had enabled the ‘Camper Switch’ on our... Read more

Hello all, just thought I’d share the below pictures of a second row of seats I have finally installed today. Surprised it all worked in the end, had to remove the arm rest (one m6 bolt) but surprisingly comfortable without having to remove the rear bench / bed extension. Runner installation was a bit fiddly but got there in the end. Will come out again for nights away but gives more options for taking children and friends around as our second car is only a 4 seater too. ... Read more

Hello fellow members I have just been accepted into this group and I thank for that.. I have been very active in another group for Bailey Motorhomes for the last 5-6 years but due to a couple of near death experiences ( not my fault ) on our Scottish west coast roads I traded it in for a 2017 AMG Marco Polo which I have had for two years and still getting used to the size compared to the six berth waggon I had previous. I am having some problems with it as it has gone into limp mode a few... Read more

After two fabulous years of glampervanning in our 2018 Marco Polo, we have made the difficult decision to move to a bigger van (blaming the dog’s need to sleep and travel in a bulky crate!) This forum has been an incredible source of information, wisdom and enviable accessories! Thank you for sharing your journey - metaphorical and actual - tips and tricks to enjoy these fabulous wee campers. It all went a significant way to enhance our knowledge and experience! *As a result of the van... Read more

Our fridge (RC1142) stopped working. It just says "clunk" occasionally and that's it. The snowflake on the control panel blinks. Symptom could be low voltage because of tired battery or bad connections but that has been checked out. So now it "might be" the control unit or the compressor (less likely) but nobody seems to know how to tell. I understand that the controller can be changed without too much bother, unit cost about £220. But if that doesn't fix it, then the whole unit has to come... Read more
