It seems this is a persistent problem across many makes and models of MGEVs. One minute the radio is working ok the next, it locks on one channel and no amount of rebooting will make it budge. The only solution it seems is to literally unplug it (disconnect the 12V battery) and plug it back in again (the IT Crowd will be overjoyed). If left unchecked (as just a minor inconvenience) it can result in a flat 12V battery and a car going nowhere, which is not a good image for MG I am sure. It... Read more

I find it bizarre that my HS Hybrid+ Trophy clearly has a front sensor, because when I am parked facing a wall in the supermarket car park, it beeps like mad when I start up and engage reverse, but it doesn't beep when I drive in, even if I use the 360 degree camera - is this everyone's experience, or have I missed a setting somewhere?

I'll try and explain what I'm after, but I may create some confusion, please bear with me. In August I drove my EV to Portugal and thought I'd share what I learnt. Portugal In Portugal there is a law that mandates that ALL public chargers must allow any approved App/RFID to operate them, so all chargers basically work on just one app / RFID card. Is there a link anywhere or does anyone know an easy way to get to a reverse sensor that has popped back into the sealed rear bumper? I have a feeling that this will become expensive

But not in the UK About a month ago I was in the Alsace region of France when I saw a baby blue/powder blue/ French racing blue (whatever you wish to call it) eHS. At the time I thought it was a wrap, but as it was so different from the standard colours it stood out as very special. Then, yesterday, I saw another one, but this time with a metallic finish. So, today's problem. I just got back into the car to drive home after visiting the local dump and at the first roundabout I switched on the holding brake as I do on every journey- the car immediately threw up a system fault on the dash. That aside the car drove normally until the next set of lights where as I pulled away the brakes (parking brake) came on briefly. This got increasingly worse at each stop.
