Good Morning thread

Yesterday I was chatting to an old boy outside the village shop, I just said " good morning" and smiled and so we got chatting, He just wanted someone to chat to and actually said " its rather lovely to hear someone say good morning to me" So, this will be a thread where we can just say good morning to each other and share whatever we want to share.

Ren has anaemia

Hello everyone... We're back from the vet with Ren. A week ago he started to lick the wall of my flat, I also had the impression he was drinking a lot (I don't think he does, but he used to not drink at all), so I took an appointment to get him checked. They had to give him an injection to tranquillise him, it was horrible again, but at least the vet didn't look at him as if he has the plague (I changed vet because the one who did his annual booster didn't even want to touch him as he was... A short, anonymous survey about everyday life with your dog (5 minutes)

Hi all. Some of you saw my intro the other day: no dog yet, planning ahead. Part of that planning is trying to understand what everyday life with a pet is actually like, and the honest answer is that the people here know far more about it than I do. So I've put together a short, anonymous survey about it: what you notice day to day, what you look up, what you'd genuinely enjoy keeping an eye on. Any pet, any country, about five minutes, no sign-in and no name asked. [URL... A short, anonymous survey about everyday life with your dog (5 minutes)

Staffy puppy + tiny dog, can it work?

Hi everyone, I’m new here and have just signed up 😊 I currently have a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix who is absolutely tiny, he’s only 3.2kg. He’s a lovely little dog and he really does love other dogs. He enjoys playing and generally gets on really well with them. I’m now looking into getting a Staffy puppy. We had Staffies growing up and we’ve always loved the breed, so now that we have moved out into a bigger place we would really love to have one of my own. My partner has also picked Staffies... Can it get any worse??

Perhaps I shouldn't say that!! As I mentioned before I adopted my 3 about 6 weeks ago after their previous human parents passed away within 2 weeks of each other. I'm slowly addressing various issues like microchipping and neutering and all bar one has seen a vet in the last few weeks. No 3 is booked for next week. We are still having massive problems with spraying - I've had cats for 40 years and never encountered such a problem - and our current domestic situation isn't helping. We... Can it get any worse??
