Hello! another 2012 Peugeot 207cc owner checking in.

Hi, I'm new to the forums after scrolling now and then for help with car issues. I bought my Peugeot as a small second family car in November 2025 at 44'000 miles. I put it through a full service when I bought it and she's up to nearly 50'000 miles now. I've been doing odd bits of work on my cars with an ex-mechanic friend and want to do my own more frequent oil changes/services etc. so wanted to join to ask specific questions on this car.

3008 2012 Brake lights

Peugeot 3008 2012. The left hand side I have no brake lights, through it would mean replacing one bulb, but looking at the right side it looks like 3 brake light bulbs in the one unit, If anyone has a 3008 could they confirm this if not I may have a electrical issue , no brake lights at all on left but the tail lights do work, can't see 3 bulbs all not working at same time. Should it have just 2 brake bulbs one each side?

Alloy corrosion

Anyone else have alloy wheel corrosion right next to the valve. I have on three out of four wheels on my 508 2019. It's not a high mileage car at just 30k miles.

EW10J4 (RFN) all engine mounts location + torque?

Hi, on my 206 GTI I have to change the engine mounts as I have all the symptoms that tell me they have gone bad, does somebody have a diagram or explanation of all the engine mounts locations, and ideally also the torque specs? I'm guessing there's 3 but I don't really know where to look and what parts I need for RFN engine. Thank you!

508 Front Indicator and Fog light Not working

Hello all, Hope correct place for this post. After doing the obvious things, checking fuses, changing a couple of bulbs -- I still have no working front indicators or fogs( including rear fog) I bought this car like this, one of the fog/indicator units was half full with water, all water removed now...- one light connector wet, still waiting for it to dry out....hopefully this is the issue. Spoke to my local garage, whom said its probably not the flasher/blinkier relay unit...as rear and... 508 Front Indicator and Fog light Not working

308GT Line Gear Knob

Hi, my current 508 geat knob is flaky and old, I want to fit a 308GT line one but I'm not sure about how to do the reverse collar. The knob fits the same as the current one but the reverse lifter doesn't fit inside the knob and a 308 reverse lifter has the lock too high and so it'll always be engaged. Has anyone ever done this before?

Immobiliser delete

My brother has recently purchased a 1997 (I think) Peugeot 306 track car, with a GTi6 engine conversion. The previous owner said it was running absolutely fine on the key, until he started getting problems with the immobiliser. So he has cut and spliced a load of wires, added in relays, etc to bypass it. There is a rats nest of wiring all over the place and we have no idea what most of it is for. The car was running, but now it randomly won't start so we think it has something to do with the... Immobiliser delete
