Honda Pilot

2015 Honda Pilot, had the engine replaced about 1.5 months ago due to a snapped timing belt. I had a local shop replace the engine. Seems to run fine, but it makes a rattle noise when cold starting. Sounds like a dirt bike/lawn mower and then runs normally after warmed up. It sounds to me like the timing belt tensioner but the shop looked and said that it's fine. Could it be something else? Thanks.

I have a 2006 Pilot EX w/264k. Super clean interior, only faded paint on the exterior. Problem-When I come to a stop sign/red light and my rpms get below 1k, when I accelerate after stopping, it goes into Limp Mode. I then turn off the vehicle and restart it and it works fine. If I approach the same situation, 2-footing the pedals so the rpms stay above 1k, vehicle accelerates, shifts & drives fine. NO CODES! Yes, check engine light stays on for every cylinder misfire codes but changed coil... Limp Mode Limbo

2007 Pilot EX-L 4WD 160,000 miles. Just got my Foxwell NT 301 scanner and checked the fuel trim levels with vehicle up to operating temperature (drove around for 10 miles) and at idle. Thoughts/advice please - thank you very much.

So I used AI to track down the problem and I ended up replacing the amplifier and the RTU at some excess expense and time only to have to buy a refurbished head unit to finally restore audio in the vehicle. Don't waste your time with those first two replacements as it's the head unit that's causing the problem with static/no audio on all sources EXCEPT GPS commands. The guy who sold the part on eBay out of pennsylvania apparently knew of this issue and I just want to save anyone the time... radio/audio system problem on 2016 Pilot Touring

Hey guys. Back in January I had the Honda dealer repair my VVT solenoid leak. I also had them do a repair package that included spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, valve adjustment etc. this allowed them to install both the upper and lower assembly of that spool valve. They screwed up and only installed the top like you would on the TSB. I took it back and told them to do the full job as they originally said they would and they did. Hi all, I’m looking for some advice from the high millage crowd. I am the original owner of our pilot, she has been a great vehicle for us. she has been maintained very well, washed weekly in Wisconsin winters. Very clean for the age (2012 ex-l awd, 272K) and millage. I have gone thru her and replaced all the common oil leak gaskets. All fluids have been changed at the correct intervals. Hello! I currently own a 2021 Pilot, and intend to keep it for as long as I can. I'd like to ask the community here for suggestions for aftermarket/OEM add-ons or accessories (I'm thinking along the lines of mud flaps, rainguards, etc.) Not necessarily to make the car more flashy or stylish (but feel free to make suggestions anyway 😅) I'm thinking more practical uses to extend the life/enjoyment out of the car. I've been working on cars since I was fifteen and I have never seen this before. Saturday evening I returned home from a band gig - I drum in a country band - and backed the Pilot into the garage as usual. On the metal breather pipe there is a box that is clipped on the back. It looks like two hoses are suppose to be attached to it. I currently only have one attached not sure what's going on. It part# 17137-RN0-A10

Hey guys. 2016 Honda Pilot. Issue is the “keyless access system problem” keeps popping up in the instrument cluster. It’s been to the Honda dealership three times. They replaced the push to start button twice, I assume because of the TSB. The next time they replaced a module. They wouldn’t disclose what they replaced… so I have no clue which one. I have been having a P0134 code on my 2006 Pilot EX-L for the past month. I am about at my wits end trying to fix it. This is what I have done so far. 1. Replaced sensor with a new Bosch unit. Still get code. 2. Swapped front sensor to rear and put new Bosch unit in the front. This I did to verify the new sensor was good. Still get same code and no additional ones. 3. Went thru the Honda trouble shooting guide for P0134. I do have continuity from the contact 6 on the sensor to contact... P0134 Problem Need Help!

2014 Honda Pilot w/100K miles. Changed the passenger lower control arm because of bad ball joint. First highway trip after that, on long righthand turn, felt like front passenger wheel was gong to come off . Pulled off and checked wheel nuts - all good. Smelled like burning rubber not brake pads. Checked brakes anyway and looked fine. No play in the wheel or other wheel bearing symptoms. Figured it may need alignment. Got it aligned, only slightly off, and also got wheels... Can CV-axle slip in/out?
