PNW Fly Fishing

With the local lakes too hot for the trout, I’ve been turned into a crazed pan fish fisherman. Went to an east Pierce County lake today and had a great time. A lot of nice sized crappie with many bluegills and perch in the mix. I’ve decided to get myself a dedicated pan fish rod, just a little 8 foot four weight. Have a pair of their flyweight waders I purchased new. Have already sent them in once as both legs complety failed resulting in boots full of water after 4 hours of fishing. They were returned and fished ok for 2 light days on the river. Last trip out #3 after repair both my socks were quite damp after fishing 5 hours. So there going in again, the point of failure looks to be the bootie to main wader leg connection Anyone else having these issues?

While doing yard work and getting the pram ready to go, I noticed a couple yellowjacket queens flying around. Set a trap out this afternoon..... Another sure sign of spring.

While cell phone optics will never be on par with dedicated photography gear, the quality has come an incredibly long way. Cell phones are also what we always have with us, and is all many us can justify spending for cameras. With that in mind, hopefully a cell phone photo thread won't be overkill with all the other great image threads, but might be a good place to discuss issues and tech tips.
