Hey all , With the Panzer having departed on the spur of the moment and my intent to update to a 1250, I’d like to adapt my round-socket GS-911 to OBD port compatibility. I’m trying to source a diagnostic port connector from a bike wrecker but have confused him by specifying it must have seven of the socket’s 10 populated with pins - as per my GS-911. Ports he has looked at among his bits and bobs have five. I’m now suspecting the diagnostic port might be... Diagnostic Port Pins

I'm preparing to do a coolant change to my 2016 R1200R. The 2021 1250RS and 2025 1300GS in my garage use the newer green BMW coolant, and I would like to just have one type on hand. BMW says they are compatible. I'm assuming I can change without a problem, after flushing the system once or twice with distilled water. Has anyone moved their 2014-2018 bike to the green stuff? Thanks in advance.

Some recent information on the R20... looks like there is already a category in the forum https://www.rideapart.com/news/807303/bmw-r-20-teased-in-video-with-ceo/
Looks like the clear lens on the left front turn signal of my 2007 broke free. Anyone have spare signals after an LED upgrade they’d be willing to sell? Maybe thoughts on where I could find a used one? Heck, at this point, I might even accept pointers on where I could find a new one. Thanks-WC

After an hour's ride and a 30 minute break, when I started the bike (2012 R1200R) the idle surged up and down, when given some input she sputtered badly, didn't want to rev, broke up while revving. After a couple of minutes she started to settle down, and then ran fine, No problems until we stopped again, and then the same thing. I'm thinking maybe the TPS? Before all this the throttle did seem a bit jerky, a real heavy on and off. The throttle did seem smoother after she settled down.
HaulBikes should be delivering this to me within the week. Has all the options and the factory bags and will also have a MRA Vario screen. Currently I also have a 1988 R100R and a 2015 Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer that I may sell. Hope the R1200R will be a ling term bike for me.

Greetings, I was introduced to the boxer experience a couple of years ago when I purchased an R9T. Stunning looking bike but not the best as a daily commuter, so just acquired a 2016 R1200R (premium?) for that purpose. Will be alternating this bike with the trusty Triumph Scrambler 1200, and reluctantly selling the R9T. Only room for 2 bikes at a time, unfortunately. Looking forward to getting more acquainted with the new ride and doing a few mods to make it my own!
