Hello! We got our Surety system from 2Gig setup and rolling around 6 months ago. I’m ready to add cameras. Where is the best place to buy alarm.com cameras? I understand that vivint security makes their own hardware but I’d love cameras like theirs. I looked into reolink too - reolink is cheaper and does not have any subscription. What are the benefits/cons of running alarm.com cameras over Reolink? I could also get 24/7 recordings without having to buy the SVR separate. Like the title says my IQ panel 2 is dead. I got a notification from alarm.com that the panel had not responded in 4 hours. I went to my panel and it was completely off, I’ve tried all possible ways to power it on. I’ve tried just battery power, just AC power and both. I’ve tried disconnecting everything and then trying it all again. Every troubleshooting step I’ve tried has failed, I’ve also tried holding the power button down for all intervals of time up to a whole minute. I’m hoping there’s something else I can try since of course I’m going on vacation in 2 days and this happens… 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic

I had to factory reset my Yale lock since I had forgotten the master code. I was able to set that all back up but now I can’t get the lock back on my ADC app. I try to remove the “old” lock from my app but it doesn’t work. I try to add the lock to the app as a new lock and it doesn’t work. Nothing works. The z-wave “button” isn’t a button but just an icon etched in the plastic. No two beeps. No five beeps. Nothing works.

This is for a VDB-770. When I click over to “saved” in my ADC app it hasn’t updated since August 18. I can still click on the live view and it works and I still get alerts when the doorbell rings but I’m no longer getting any movement alerts either. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
