Some of you know I've gotten pretty heavily involved with neural amp modeling and capture technology lately. I've been building a capture setup, making my own models, experimenting with NAM and TONEX, and recently using NAM models with the Blackstar BEAM Mini. Hello! My friend asked me to take a look at his 414 mkii because the bass on Track 4 (and ONLY Track 4) was recording super muffled. I tried swapping the record head wires on Tracks 3 and 4 and the problem moved over to Track 3. Recorded on another machine, the same bass part sounded fine when I played it back on Track 4 of my friend's machine, telling me that the problem is not only to do with the head itself, but specifically the record function of that channel. I can send prerecorded audio from Logic Pro to the Model 12. I can transfer audio files to Logic Pro from the Model 12 using USB Storage Mode. I can send live audio from the Model 12 (i.e., electric bass plugged into a Model 12 input) and it shows up and records in Logic Pro. But, I cannot stream prerecorded audio in the Model 12 to Logic Pro - via USB. Model 12 channel mode is set to PC. Logic Pro input and output devices are set to Model 12. Sample rate and bit rates... A bit of context: I've been given TSR-8 for free, it has been in storage for over 20 years, and it had some rough time during those. It was in a 'parts machine at best' state, but as It was closer to being working, than not working, I decided to treat the restoration as a hobby project. so i tried to power up not og power supply and seems i fryed it for DP 24 sd mutitrackstation after i found the og power supply wont power up at all i opened to see any burnt parts caps etc does not show any the power plug smelles burnt is there an fuse or do i need to replace whole board hope there is an better way plz help me get the right part to fix this matter!
