I've started with a battery mod project for the Tello because after two years the original 3 batteries that I have are pretty much done, two of the batteries are swollen so much that they barely fit into the drone and I can fly about 3.5 minutes with those if I fly really slow. Hi just bought a second hand tello without battey, bought one off Alli express but just glows pink & doesn't connect to wifi. Can anyone help?

Hey all, I made a little open source Unity app to pilot the Tello and see its live video feed inside a Quest 2 (passthrough, gamepad control, photos/video recording, battery/telemetry on screen). Unacceptable attempt. I failed to pair the drone with the remote control, then I planned to update the software, but I didn't notice the battery draining quickly, and now it's almost unreadable. I really should replace this drone; it's been with me for several years. I'm considering a more challenging FPV drone; any recommendations?

The TELLO drone is a great choice for students. It has sufficient pixels and clarity, the gimbal stabilization effect is excellent, and the most important thing is that its second-hand price is only around 100 RMB now. If you want to make a drone with built-in video transmission and this size yourself, this is the cheapest solution known so far.
