I'm currently considering purchasing a MF Campus (keyhole) in size 40, but am hung up on whether to pay the additional $175 for the tanned "sunshine" version. For those that have purchased a sunshine model of the Campus, Ranch Blouse, etc. What were your thoughts? My main concerns would be whether or not the Pecards treatment has been applied carefully or if there's a high likelihood that the corduroy collar backing, interior cuff lining, and parts of the interior have staining from... Hello all - I'm sure somebody here has some experience of and/or thoughts on Double Helix Works jackets? My eye has been caught in particualr by this jacket, which the more perceptive among you may just notice bears an ever so slight resembelance to a Freewheelers Mulholland - https://doublehelixworks.com/product/huggingthecurveblack/?lang=en . Given that the chances of me ever finding a Mulholland in a suitable size have proven slim, does anyone have any thoughts on how this brand... Read more

Ever wonder what it might be like to have the Era unfold for you day by day, in real time? It's possible, thanks to the online availability of long continuous runs of daily newspapers. If you're a paid subscriber to Newspapers.com you can have your choice of dailies, but there's a wonderful free resource right here , thanks to the Brooklyn Public Library -- which has made available the full run of the Brooklyn Eagle, from 1841 until the paper folded in January 1955. The Eagle was as... Read more

It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s the finest Montecristi hat that I own and I got it at a great price (especially considering how fine the detailing is). Enjoy ... Read more

Right, so I know there's an entire sub-forum devoted to this but... Not only do I constantly keep forgetting about it (and I don't think I'm alone on this) but since it's intended for general vintage finds of all kinds, there's just too many stuff to browse through - so - how about a thread dedicated only to good deals on leather jackets? eBay, Etsy, Grailed, etc. - anything goes as long as the listings aren't yours.

A question for the group and particularly those w/ generously proportioned noggins. I'm 5'10", roughly 220# and wear a 7-3/4 hat on a shaven head. With a few wears my hats shrink but never noticeably so to anyone but me. I have 9 hats and each have a roughly 2.25-2.5" brim which took a little getting used to early on but now seems normal. I recently bought an Akubra Banjo and though the brim is only 2.75 it seems to make my head appear to be a new planet with Saturn's ring. Is this... Read more
