Hello from Namibia — Munich to Cape Town in an early Grenadier

Hi everyone, new here. Found this forum yesterday while chasing a fault somewhere between nowhere and Windhoek, and it turned out to be more useful than everything else we'd tried combined. Figured we should introduce ourselves before asking for more help. I'm Nicci, travelling with Nico — the two of us are the core team. We're driving Munich to Cape Town, currently in Namibia. The route runs down pretty much the entire West African coast — Mauritania, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria... Read more

Deciding between Agile / RIVAL / Almont4WD Skid Plates

I've been going through all the posts about skid plates for my Grenadier and I've narrowed it down to Agile, Rival and Almont4WD, but I wanted to get some opinions. I've also factored cost, shipping and tarrifs, as I am in Canada, so this much weight and size can get pretty expensive. I am looking at a full kit. Agile - Good support, products, reputation, install instructions - Concerns about the exposed bolt heads and the use of the flag nuts for one panel (Unsure if it's... Read more

New (to me) problems

Just bought a 2024 Trialmaster and I LOVE IT!! Took it off-road for the first time today and this thing is amazing. I love: The steering. After reading all of the reviews it was my biggest concern before I bought it, but I drove it 100 miles on on I-70 no problem. Came from an electric BMW iX and I feel like I'm back in control and driving for real. I could have fallen asleep in the BMW and it would have gotten me home. The looks. Stunning. Land Rover dropped the ball by not keeping the... Read more

Towing mirrors

Hi, Has anyone managed to buy suitable mirrors to add to the Grenadier when towing a wider trailer such as a caravan to give wider visibility? If so, please can you let me know the model? Many thanks John
