Oil change

I bought a 2011 1700 classic the other day. It didn’t have any maintenance records. I’m going to check everything including the clutch reservoir and brake reservoirs. I’m starting with an oil change. I’m using full synthetic oil. My question is how many miles between oil changes? I read somewhere once a year, but that doesn’t seem right.

Towing a camping trailer

I am looking at buying a timeout camper to pull behind by 1700 vaquero, I’d be interested in anyone who has or is towing. I don’t have any idea the towing capacity of a motorcycle since it’s not usually listed. Time out campers weight is between 325 and 385 LBS.

Fuel injector light

My fuel injector light comes on shortly after start up. If I shut it off after running it a bit the light goes away, anybody out there have that problem or have any ideas thank you.

Oil change on a 900 that hasn’t been started in about six weeks.

Good evening legends. This probably sounds like a bonehead question. My 900 classic has been sitting for about six weeks. My bike is stored outside with a proper cover on it but unfortunately it’s winter down here in Perth Western Australia. Before starting my bike, should I change the oil and filter as there might be some moisture? Or should I just start and run it, then do the oil change. Your advise on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Brendon . 2011 Vulcan 900 classic.

Led headlight

Hello all vulcans. I know this has been posted before but can't find the thread. I recently bought a 2011 vulcan 900 classic. I'm trying to fit an aftermarket led headlight but can't seem to find any that will go over the wider classic fork covers. Has anyone found one that will go over the fork covers. I'm also trying to fit a batwing fairing

Toce Exhaust

Has anyone installed the Toce Exhaust on their 650 S? Has there been any issues with it? Did you have to remap the ECU? I really like the looks compared to other companies.

Cobra Pipes baffles /noise

I have some Cobra exhaust pipes on the bike I bought. From looking at the Cobra site, they look to be the Speedster Slashdown model of exhaust. I have questions for anyone who bought them. 1. Did the angled billet tips originally come with them in the box? 2. Did any baffles come with them originally in the box? (They are really loud, and I might prefer to not enrage the neighbors.) The pipes look to be about 2 1/8" diameter at the rear. Are these the correct baffles... Cobra Pipes baffles /noise
